More moderately priced restaurants on Strip

We will be in Las Vegas for 5 nights in May at Bellagio. My husband definitely wants to go back to SW for dinner one night since we had such a great meal there but I am looking for some suggestions for 4 other nights - We won't mind splurging for a second night but am hoping there are some good restaurants - Italian or fish - where the average entrees are no more than the mid 30 dollar range. Is that possible?

Top 3 fine dining restaurants for special anniversary dinner

In Baltimore - Prime Rib, Charleston,

restaurants at Palazzo-Venetian

We will be in Las Vegas at Palazzo for a few days next month - if possible we would like to stay in the complex for dinners in case the heat is really oppressive. Any suggestions for dinner - we have eaten at Delmonicos before - I think we would prefer a great Italian or seafood restaurant.

Baltimore Special Occasion

Personally I think Prime Rib is best special occasion restaurant - the food is elegant, people are dressed up - the atmosphere is good - we were just there for my husband's birthday - the following week we went to Tio Pepe - again to celebrate his birthday - I like it alot - but I know many who don't.

more moderate Las Vegas strip restaurants

We are in Las Vegas for 3 nights next month after a trip to California - we are staying at Wynn - I would like to try some new restaurants that aren't outrageously priced - without alcohol I am thinking of 50-60 dollar per person meals. Any suggestions.

3 Fine Dining Nights in Vegas

Funny - we will be at Wynn for 3 nights starting June 11. I have had great meals at Delmonicos and Prime. I think my favorite meal though has been at Michael's in the Barberry Coast. The hotel is seedy but the restaurant is awesome - old fashioned - tons of food - expensive. I hated Renoir in Mirage. Someone I know just came back and said he had the best meal at the top of the Eiffel Tour.

Retaurants near La Costa - north County

We are 3 couples coming to San Diego for US Open and spending 5 nights at La Costa. We would like some recommendations for dinner primarily in the north San Diego area. We would like to have a couple of really nice dinners - someone recommended Valentines at Torrey Pines to me (we thought we might run into some of the golfers there as well) - does anyone know if La Costa has any decent restaurants.

Regardless we would like to try "California" restaurants - we would like a couple of nicer restaurants and a couple of more casual ones. For the cheaper restaurants we would like entrees to be under $25.00 if possible. We hope to eat at some with great views as well.

Lastly, one day the three women will spend the day in La Jolla and would like a great restaurant for lunch - outside would be ideal - fabulous salads as well.

Wedding dinner for 60 at a Baltimore restaurant

It may be more expensive but Linwoods has a private space in Owings Mills and does a beautiful job.

Authentic Italian needed (Baltimore)!

Boccaccio is good - a little stuffy though - but it is northern Italian - is that what you are looking for. I think DaMimmo is also quite good - expensive as well.

Birthday dinner in Balto Friday

We are going out to celebrate my birthday Friday and Saturday night with different people. Saturday is Tio Pepe so I was thinking some place more fun and casual for Friday. Anything new or exciting downtown? Anybody know anything about Tabrizis in Federal Hill? My only request is that they take reservations and it is not outrageously noisey - I guess that is a sign of age.

Downtown Baltimore Monday, August 21st

South of Harbor Pazza Luna in Locust Point or Bicycle. Little Italy is a Baltimore tradition although many restaurants are overrated. La Scala is decent. I personally think Sabatinos and Chiaparellis are overrated tourist traps. Mezze in Fells Point is fun - inexpensive tapas and you can walk around the Fells Point area to see "Baltimore:

Alonso's or Loco Hombre or Rocket to Venus

I had dinner at Alonso's Sunday night - the chopped salad was great - so was the pizza - we also had a very pleasant server. You can get Alonso's menu in Loco Hombre as well.

Celebratory dinner in Baltimore

Artscape is this week-end so I might steer clear of B - it will be really crowded in the area

Dogwood Deli in Hampden

A friend mentioned this to me - anybody know anything about it?

Lunch in Lower Westchester

Blue in White Plains has good lunch - some people rave about MacMinemann's (SP??) in New Rochelle

Baltimore: Visiting soon, where to dine?

Mezze in Fells Point is a great tapas restaurant - very reasonable. Next door to it is Kalis' Court which is same ownership - much more expensive - more fish oriented. There is a relatively new place in Inner Harbor East that is good - I think it may be a change called Lebanese Taverna I think - I haven't been but have heard good things. The Ambassador is quite popular - beautiful outdoor garden setting - we had horrible, horrible, service there two weeks ago. It is indian.

Willett House for private party

Has anybody been to any private affairs at Willett House. They do catering in their private rooms and offer varied menus that include more than steak. I worry about a steak house not doing anything but their specialty well - what about service? We are talking about a rehearsal dinner for about 70 people.

Whitby Castle and catering

Hi - does anybody know anything about Whitby Castle's operation since Restaurant Associates left. I had been to some parties there previously but a friend suggested having a wedding there and I can't get a handle on the new operation. I guess it's been a year or two in operation with new management.

Looking for Best Crabs and Seafood

Close to downtown I would suggest Obrycki's on Pratt or Bo Brooks on Boston for crabs. Seafood is a different animal - I am not sure what you mean. McCormick & Schmick is at the harbor but I don't think it is particularly good and certainly isn't a "Baltimore" restaurant. Black Olive in Fells Point is known for fish as is Kalis Court. Crab houses are different though

birthday/anniv. dinner w/picky eaters in baltimore

I love Tio Pepe - they have great fish - shrimp in garlic is an outstanding appetizer. Pazza Luna just reopened in Locust Point - Italian in a cute row house. We are trying Salt tonight - I heard it is great.

Mt. Washington Recomendations

nothing great in Mt. Washington - Mt. Washington Tavern is just fair - not too far away is Mccabes on Falls Road - a tiny bar but good food - excellent crabcakes - Alonzos on Coldspring has a great burger - good chopped salad - you can eat outside at Donna's at Cross Keys.

Bagels in Baltimore?

Goldbergs definitely

Sams of Gedney Way for rehearsal dinner

Someone suggested Sam's for a rehearsal dinner on a Friday night for about 60-80 people. We needed to stay in southeast Westchester. Being from out of the area it is hard to pick. Anybody know anything about the private space there and their catering?

B'DAY CELEBRATION NEED PRIVATE ROOM IN A RESTAURANT

Whitby Castle has a private room, Plates, Willett House, Sonora, Gaia in Greenwich (close by) , Hostaria Mazzei

Anyone eat at Frank's Steaks in Rye Brook

A friend recommended Frank's for a party - they have a private room - I am not familiar other than I know they own other restaurants on Long Island. Are the steaks good? Is it on par with the other steak houses around?

Am I moving to a chow wasteland?

Baldwin Station is ok in Sykesville. Harryman House in Reisterstown is decent. Other than that you may need to come into Baltimore for decent food.

Help - need rehearsal dinner location

I am hosting a rehearsal dinner before my son's wedding - 60-80 people - not familiar with area - want some place near Rye Brook where out of towners are staying. Ideally - some place more casual and fun since the wedding next night is formal. Any suggestions for great restaurants that can accomodate that large a private party in Port Chester, White Plains, or any place else close by - ideally no more than 10 miles from Doral Arrowwood.

Willett House thoughts

Anybody have any experience at Willett House. It was recommended to us but we are taking a large party there and not everyone is a steak lover. I know they have fish - I am not from the area and hate going blind especially when it is not cheap.

Fun restaurant in Downtown Baltimore

Pazza Luna recently reopened in Locust Point - used to be quite good - I think now owned by people from Sotta Sopra. Most Harborplace restaurants are fair - Cheesecake is fun at the lower price point - you'll wait though - also PF Changs is new on Pratt across from Harbor if you don't mind chain Chinese. The bars in Canton are always a possibility. Mamas on the half Shell is good but doesn't take reservations. Claddaghs Pub has good food as well. There are so many decent restaurants downtown.

Lunch with cool grandma in Sykesville area?

I would second Baldwin's in Sykesville - you can sit outside if the weather is nice.
