A foody is traveling from NY to Montreal next week.
I am looking for best place to eat, from casual cafe for lunch to

I do love all kinds of food, am not vegitalian, budget is open.

wonderful Japanese restaurant in Cobble Hill
We had a friend's birthday dinner at a KYOTO style Japanese restaurant, HIBINO in Cobble Hill and all we were so satisfied with the amazing food, nice&friendly service, and the reaspnable price !!!
They have some kinds of daily special OBANZAI ( Kyoto style tapas food) , and their fresh made tofu is so so good. Also, KYOTO HAKO SUSHI & KYOTO FUTOMAKI SUSHI from entree were fantastic ! Then, please save some room for their desert, Soy pudding is like a dreamy !
My friend is from Kyoto and he has a scathing mouth, BUT he really loved all the foods !

Minca Ramen?
If you like very rich & thick broth, then I would recommend you minca ramen or basic ramen. But if you preffer the light broth, wafu ramen would be good.
Also, try their homemade gyoza(dumpling)too !
