Chicago food tour - is it worth it?
I also don't think this is a good value. If you want a feel for more ethinic specialty stores, a definite place to go is the MIddle East Bakery and Grocery in Andersonville (1512 W Foster Ave - Clark and Foster). I go about once a month and stock up on bread and other dishes - great for middle eastern ingredients You also find a few other nice stops around there for shopping. Along Broadway near Argyle there are good Asian markets and great, inexpensive Asian restaurants. The Spice House in Old Town (which is on the tour) is well worth the trip, but Ethel's and the Fudge Pot are not all that exciting (altho that's maybe because they're in my backyard)
Minneapolis business dinner
I am hosting a client dinenr in Minneapolis. We will have between 15 - 25 people, so prefer a private room or private area. We will spend between $60 - $80 per person. We can't do anything wild in terms of tastes, it's a fairly conservative group. We're staying at the Grand, so want to be fairly close. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Customer Dinner in Denver
I am hosting a dinner party for clients in Denver in June. I need a nice restaurant with a private room for about 25 people. Since we have a variety of tastes, we need somewhere fairly conservative - French bistro style, Italian, steak, seafood will work, Asian, middle eastern, Mexican/South American are not. While we don't have an unlimited budget, we can spend $50-75 per person. Any suggestions?
