Thanks for all the great tips. We ended up having a great meal at Mas Farmhouse, where we both got the chefs tasting menu. My wife's was vegetarian, and both of our meals were really exceptional, as was the service. Great cocktails too! Very special place. |

Also, a place that has a good bar and interesting cocktails is always a plus! Lastly, somewhere we can get in on short notice would help. We tried many places on this site, but they are all booked up. |

Price isn't a huge concern. Last night, my wife got the grilled vegetable tower app, fresh pasta with mixed vegetables and a tomato sauce. I got an incredible seared salmon with artichokes, sundried tomatoes and Dijon mustard sauce. We shared a mixed berry zabaglione in puff pastry dessert. Awesome! |

My wife and I are in town from SF and had an awesome meal last night at De Andrea. Loved the local feel, incredibly good food and service. My wife is a quasi vegetarian and they had lots of interesting choices for her. We don't need fancy necessarily, just great quality. We need a place for tonight. Mediteranean, American or even middle eastern would be great. Suggestions would be appreciated. We are staying near Grand Central but can go anywhere. |

We are in town with our 6-year old daughter, who is a great eater and does great in restaurants. We have reservations at both Rosinni's and Da Andrea for tonight. We love Italian. Is one a clearly better choice? |

Dinner near Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis I am looking for a good (but not fancy) dinner spot for a midweek business dinner. We are staying that the Hyatt Regency and would be happy walking or driving (if not too far). Up to $50 person is OK. American, Italian, Med are all great. |

Has anyone tried La Cour Jardin at the Plaza Althenee Hotel? It's an Alain Ducasse place that emphasizes vegetable dishes. |

My wife and I will be in Paris for 3 nights this September. My wife is, shall we say, a picky eater. She tends to mostly be a vegetarian, though she will eat cured meats (e.g. salami), chicken and shellfish at times. But she does not do creamy dishes, frog legs, foix gras and such. (Thought she will go to such places, so long as there are dishes she can enjoy.) I would appreciate restaurant suggestions for our dinners. We are staying at the Westin Paris Hotel but are flexible on location. |

We are coming to Newport Beach next week for 3 nights. We will have our 2-year old with us , although we may get a babysitter for one dinner. We'd appreciate your suggestions on good places for bfast and dinner. Nothing fancy, but nothing like fast food or chains either. We like good food of all types! Thanks. |
