Best meal I ever ate:

A Michelin place in Eze, France; a place at the tippy top of a building in Hong Kong; and, the deep dark kitschy cavern of Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks.

My current drink of choice:

French white wine which is a real change from my buttery oaky Cali chards that I have loved for years!

I really wish I could:

Nothing - I do everything I want to do. I don't mean that to sound snotty or anything. It's just that I live how I want. I enjoy food, wine, friendship & exploring new places and incorporate that into my daily life no matter what - you just gotta do what makes you happy and not sit around wishing about it.

My "Go-to" dinner party dish:

None, I hate bringing dishes - I'd rather eat out and try new places.

My favorite comfort food:

Isn't everyone's the same? Mac & cheese, pizza or a gooey cheese enchilada platter

My top 5 favorite restaurants:

Staples we go to here - Bloodroot &amp Valencia Luncheria & now Bistro Basque.- I like simple food and good wines. In Cali - Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks and Celia's in San Rafael.

My most tattered cookbooks:

None, I buy them but then eat out. My cook deals with the tattering. Then, when the meals are in the frig, I still eat out!
