Dupont Circle and beyond
My wife and I are New Yorkers who are in town for a conference this week. We're staying at the Dupont Hotel and are interested in nice places (maybe steak for me, maybe French for her) to eat.
I'm opened to just about anywhere in the immediate metro area and would value the opinions here more than the guide books.

Restaurant choices close to Marriott Metro Center
Don't want to stray too far from the hotel this Thursday since we'll be at a conference all day and tired out. I have an affinity for a good steakhouse but any interesting suggestions will be appreciated.

The wife has a real hankering for some good old fashioned lasagna. Anyone know a good destination in Queens or Brooklyn?
