I use Evernote. Very handy to have at the supermarket. When I see a good deal on meat or fish I can check my recipes to see if I need any additional ingredients.

Best fried rice and pan fried noodles in or near Chinatown?

Hi! I'm visiting for a week in the last week of June and will be staying near Chinatown. I'll be relying on the bus and cable cars for transportation. I visited a few years ago and had some great fried rice at Chef Jia's. Any suggestions on where to go for bbq pork or roast duck fried rice? I also had some really good Hong Kong style bbq pork pan fried noodles at Great Eastern restaurant. Any suggestions on where to go for bbq pork or roast duck pan fried noodles?

Saving recipes on macbook pro + viewing on iphone 4

Thanks for the suggestions! I did a search on Itunes and found evernote. It's pretty cool. I can clip a website using a browser plugin then I can view it on my iphone using the evernote app.

Fried turkey?

I reheated the fried turkey in the over following the directions and it turned out great! It was spicier than the Butterball turkey we normally get at Vons and oven roast.

Thanks again for all the info! I purchased a pound of citric acid from Atlas Chemical and following the cleaning instructions I was able to get rid of over 95% off the crud at the bottom.

Thrifty's Circus Animal Ice Cream [from San Diego]

It was flavor of the month I think back in July... I got hooked but have been unable to find it again in the 1.75 quart container. I did find some in the area where you buy by the cone and they told me I can buy either a cone or the 3 gallon container. It's my fav Thrifty flavor. It's really awesome!

I have still been unable to locate the 1.75 quart containers but I was able to buy a 3 gallon container. Its $39.99 but worth it. This ice cream is so awesome!

Gulf Coast Grill is closed. They are suppose to reopen with new owners. I loved that place in the beginning when they had these awesome fried chicken wings on there appetizer/happy hour menu.
