Indian - Sunday - Chole Puri anywhere?

You'll have to come to Mississauga, near hurontario and dundas there is a plazamall in it it's a food court there is a small place called Tabbaq. It's not the best ambiance.
But it'll Jo the job. Go early before all the locals wake up about 10am, after itgets really crowded and unruly. It isn't the best chilly puri you'll eat but the best available.

For best channa batura the best in the city is on torbram and steels called kwality sweets.
Hands down for best.

I have been beating the drum on this topic over and over.
Sorry caucasion folks but me or any of my fellow brown folks who know well about Indian food, would never step in any of these places unless it was an emergency mentioned above or below.

Unless its the ambiance you care about.

Worst...service...ever...

YOU ALL ARE ABSOLUTLY RIGHT!!!
My brother is a waiter at ERIN MILLS TC location, used to be a cook and I hear all sorts of Horror stories out of his mouth and let me tell you. the things I hear DISGUST ME! and these guys pride themselves at it.
I think they got the whole concept messed up.
I my self am a chef when I took a Menu Writing class the Instructurs displayed some of the Worst menu composition and Pickle Barrel was the worst rated menu, Due to the amount of Menu item. They dont try to specialize in a few things rather they try to do it all and make a mess of everything... and thats how Restaurants Fail which direction PB is headed..

across universal there is a place called Cracker Barrel you can look it up excatly on thier website at www.crackerbarrel.com. I highly recomend you get breakfast there.

TOP PIZZA IN FLA

OK I grew up in Kissimmee, Florida and this place introduced me to what NY style Pizza is.. Its called AL's Pizza on BYRAN street off of John Young South Near Osceola High. This guy serves slices out of a small window and usually there is always people waiting for some Crispy Hot Slices
In kissimme Hands down the following Independant pizzaria worth pilgrimage for:

AL's Real NY STYLE PIZZA
Mike'y PIZZARIA
NYPD is Pretty good to.

After Comparasion these pizza to pizzaria's In NY they are not truely NY but I think i like these more then what they serve in NYC.

Actually In toronto there are many posers of Indian restarnants alot of ABCDs or I should say CBCD's (AMERICAN BORN CONFUSED DESI)
They have No idea how to cook nor have never been to India/Pak. Like NYC and Chicago Mostly mexican's are cooking our and every other food and the taste has dissappeared. In toronto I'd stay away there are a few places how ever in BRAMPTON! Brar is pretty alright how ever MY fav is KWALITY SWEETS on TORBRAM and STEELS. HANDS DOWN THE BEST SAMOSA'S IN THE CITY AND BEST CHANNA BATURA ALSO THALI.

GIVE IT A TRY.

New York style pizza in chicago

OK guys here is the verdict..

I know i am a bit late replying how ever here it is.

I only had 3 days in CHI TOWN, so I tried both Luigi's and Bacci.
I come to a conculsion that Luigi is very close to what they serve in NY. Pretty damn bland Pizza where they expect you to add your spice to liking after.
Bacci All the spice is already put in the Sauce ex. Oregano,Garlic, etc.... Which I find more tasting. My opinion I liked Bacci slice more then luigi as far as Size and taste went. how ever I noticed the crust was a bit too thick and was not hand pressed. but over all that was the taste I was looking for and preferred.
But Luigi is more closer to NY then Bacci.

Everyone visiting there had no clue no answer so I was just about to ask the same excate question here. but MAREA61780 (THANK YOU) did it for me :)..

I will be in Chicago first weekend of New year and One of the things beside Chicago style I was intersted in Finding NY style pizza. If anyone knows any good thin crust Pizzaria's which are Similar to NY style Please do recomend and also any other good restaurant to take some one for thier Birthday (smack down town) thanks alot..

Not just any pizza I am talking About NOOWAAK style Pizza??

I am guy who moved to Toronto 7 years ago from Orlando where I picked up my love for NY style Pizza.. Since moving here, there are alot of commercial pizza chain which dominate the market But non are close to NY STYLE..or half decent. So on my recent mission I am trying to find all local pizzeria's who can come close to serving a decent slice...
so far unsuccess. Still on a search I came across Two listing which came as a surprise to me on Yellow.ca one both downtown area one called Slice Of NY on KING and One NEW YORK PIZZA. I went to the first place IT WAS A SHUT DOWN :(.. then the second was converted into a WING MACHINE YUCK...

any recomendations ????
