McDonalds "Angus" burger
I agree - I ordered the version with bacon and was impressed (for McDonalds). The seemingly fresher and more plentiful toppings made the difference. i found it funny that the burger retained the same McDonalds taste.
Trader Joe's Sweet Potato Chips
I agree - Highly addictive and easy to polish off the whole bag in one sitting!
Chicken Parm Flat Bread Sandwich at Dunkin Donuts
Dunkin Donuts is trying way too hard to break into the lunch market. I can't imagine going there for a Chicken Parm sandwich. There must be somone out there brave enough to try it... If so, please report back.
TGI Fridays
Jack Daniels Bacon Burgers and Beer. Other than that, this place is useless.
Admit it... There's Some Dishes at Chain Restaurants You Like
- Thai Chicken Pasta at The Cheesecake Factory
- Jack Daniels BBQ Bacon Burger at TGI Fridays
- Wendy's - Chocolate Frosty and the Baconator
McDonald's charging for Big Mac sauce now?
That's a shame - I love a ghetto big mac (double cheeseburger w/ free mac sauce)
Blue Ribbon Brisket
I concur on the BBQ Burnt ends Burrito from Blue Ribbon - It's Excellent!!!!
Warning - If you consume the whole burrito in one sitting, you'll need about a gallon of coffee to get rid of the food coma.
best lobster roll
I really enjoy the lobster roll from Kelly's Roast Beef. All locations are good, but head to the original in Revere and eat it while sitting on the ocean wall. They also do a good job with fried seafood and onion rings. However, I've never been a fan of their roast beef sandwiches.
Oishii II in Sudbury
I've been several times. Not as good as the one in Chestnut Hill, but close.
Sit down BBQ w/ alcohol?
I agree with the recs for Firefly's. Their St. Louis Ribs are meaty and DO NOT fall off the bone. My wife loves the Pulled chicken and pork there as well. I've also dined with people who raved about their fried chicken. The one big weakness on their menu is brisket, which is usually too dry. As for sides, the sweet potato pecan pudding is addictive and the fries are top notch. Try them - you won't be disappointed!!!!
life without chicken fingers--worth living?
I agree!!!! I've been dragged to Bennigans only a handful of times and I have thoroughly enjoyed the chicken fingers. However, everything else on the menu that I've had is absolutely dreadful.
Dunkin' Donuts Monopoly?
Dunkin Donuts has a firm grip on the Greater Boston area, although there are a few family owned donut shops that survive by turning out a far superior product and maintain a loyal customer base.
Red Pepper - New Chinese Restaurant
I'll have to try this place. I wish them well - nothing seems to last very long in this location.
what's the scope on Phantom Gourmet
I watched this show regularly back when Billy Costa was the host. It is what it is: you know the reviews are biased when they are airing ads paid for by local restaurants. The Andelman brothers are flat out annoying.
Batali got the boot (from FN)
They're replaying an episode of Iron Chef w/ Batali as I type!!! At least he'll receve some royalties.
Good pizza in West Suburbs??
Framingham top three:
1. Gianni's
2. Franco's
3. Pepperoncini's
Arby's, just how is their roast beef made?
I don't want to know... for the price, I'll choose to be blissfully ignorant.
Wendy's: Anyone Tried "The Baconator"?
I think it's OK. It would be better with BBQ sauce.
pf changs & cheesecake factory
I'm a big fan of PF Chang's. The lettuce wraps are unbelievable.
