Make it casual - make it memorable

We are arriving at noon on Thursday and departing Monday morning. We are typical midwesterners that enjoy seafood and Boston very much. I have always enjoyed the Clam chowder and conversation with "Red" at the Union Oyster House. I like the ambience of the place, specifically the bar area. We''ll be staying in the Financial District and doing charter fishing all day Friday. We've done and liked Legal, East Coast Grill, some of the "pubs" We prefer the short side of casual for a long weekend like this but I am looking for a "stellar" lobster for a milestone birthday; and great seafood and a Sunday brunch to seal the deal. My coat and tie retired with me a few years ago so the best I got is sweater/slacks. How about an offer I can't refuse Boston?

Best Boston Burger

For the past several years, from an out-of-towners perspective, we have really enjoyed a cup of chowder and burger at the bar at Ye Olde Union Oyster House and very much enjoyed it. Am I really missing something at the Bull and Radius places. We are coming back the first weekend in May and will be staying in the Financial District.

It's been awhile......

since our last trip to the Bay area and we are coming back in late September-08. I don't see anything good on Harris Steak House. Have they gone downhill or what? How about Buchannans Grill in the Marina area. This one was a nice local place run by Bill Jamison I believe. Still their or gone. How about the Cliff's; are they done with the remodel and how is the food. Finally, I see that the "ferry building" is now a bunch of shops, etc. anything good in their for eats. TIA. Dick
