Antico Cambi. It is in the oltrano and only locals go there. The owner Stephano is very nice and ask to see his wine cellar. Lots of great wines and reasonably price. You walk in and your steak is in the see through counter and you pick it out and then it is cooked. Was there in Feb 09 and will be there again in Oct 09.
Best Restaurant along Tuscan Coast ?????
Looking for a great restauant along the Tuscan Coast - San Vicenzo, Lovorno, etc. I have already been to La Pineta and Gambero Rosso - but unfortunately they are closed on Monday's. Food and Wine must been excellent.....

Sapphire in Laguna - just a few miles up the road. It is the best dining in thet area - except the Studio at the Montage.
Orso's new Pizza Dough for more Dough
Was over at Orso last night and the only reason i go there is for the great thin crust Margarita Pizza and the wonder house wine in the koolaid pitcher. Ordered our usually pizza and something was not right. It was too thick and too hard - and half way through our usually great pizza we asked the waiter and he did confirm that they have changed their dough receipt so that they can put more toppings on the pizza which equates to more dough in their pockets. I guess the writers strike is hitting home. Anyway I was so dissapointed at this new dough that if they do not change back - i will never go again.
We did voice our dissapointment to the GM and told him our vote was for the original dough. New dough was not happening.
Best pizza in town - informal opinion poll
Doug Aranagos Restaurant in West Hollywood. The pizza is so thin and crisp. The chef Chris will not even give a hint on how he makes his crust. Big Secret.
