Salad bar in Balto (central area from Towson to Downtown)????

Help, folks! I need to find places with salad bars in Balto. I have regular monthly meeting and we need a sit-down place (no markets or stores) with salad bars. So far, we've been to Ruby Tuesdays about 20 times. Their salad bar has gotten progressively worse, and everyone else is sick of their food.
Need SALAD BAR advice!! thanks!

Need info on newish kosher restaurant-Umami

Hi folks,
I've been planning to visit Umami in Pikesville (Baltimore, MD) but I heard not great reviews from a friend. Has anyone eaten there? How was the food? Is lunch affordable (~$10. pp)? What are some good choices?

Any help would be appreciated!
(I also posted to the Balto./DC board. Sorry for the duplication)
Thanks!

Please, please folks, can you help? I know it's not a real "foodie" question, but my friends keep kosher and won't eat anything but fresh fruit in regular restaurants. Does anyone know of a place around the north part of the Baltimore beltway (from Pikesville to Timonium to about Perry Hall) where they can order a nice fruit salad platter for lunch??

There are only a few restaurants which still have salad bars (Ruby Tuesdays, for example), so I'm looking for somewhere to get just a large plate of seasonal summer fruits (doesn't even have to be exotic) and some cottage cheese for a lunch entree.

Great fruit platters around Baltimore?

Please, please folks, can you help? I know it's not a real "foodie" question, but my friends keep kosher and won't eat anything but fresh fruit in regular restaurants. Does anyone know of a place in the northern Balto area with a decent fruit plate where other friends could have a reasonable lunch as well?
Thanks!

Great fruit platters around Baltimore?

Thanks for your great suggestions in the past. My request today is to find a few good restaurants around the north part of the Baltimore beltway (from Pikesville to Timonium to about Perry Hall) where I can order a nice fruit salad platter.

Thanks in advance for the awesome advice!

Prepared food delivered to Naples, FL?

Thanks, Jeterfan, for the suggestion. I called and got the name of Aroma Market in Ft. Lauderdale. They don't have anything on their website, so I am waiting for an email of their menu.

If anyone has other suggestions for the area, please let me know.

Prepared food delivered to Naples, FL?

I am trying to pre-send a variety of Rosh Hashanah meals to a friend in Naples, FL. So far, I've found several websites which insist they ship all over the US. Most, however, are based in NY. Seems silly to freeze prepared foods in order to ship to Florida.

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced outfit based somewhere in Florida that has packaged and prepared foods at reasonable prices? I'm looking for a combination of main dishes, sides, salads, packaged desserts, challahs, etc.

The site I found that seemed best (but in NY) was Park East Kosher. Has anyone used them before? How is their "fresh" then "frozen for shipping" prepared foods (like chicken, beef stew, side dishes...).

Thanks!

Gift certificate for Baltimore restaurant

I just read a review of b, and it sounds very interesting. Wow, so many choices. I guess I'll look at the menus of Birches, Chameleon, and b and see where $50 can go farthest. (Well, it isn't ME going!)
Thanks again for all your help!

Gift certificate for Baltimore restaurant

Hi folks! I need suggestions for gift certificates for Baltimore area restaurants. Since I don't really know the tastes of the recipients, I'd appreciate your sugggestions on restaurants that include these characteristics: Some "generic" fare- American/European/seafood (but they may have ethnic fare along with standard favorites), a "nice" atmosphere for dinner (but not necessarily the most formal), and an entree cost average of about $15 or so. I'd like to give a $50 gift certificate, so it would be nice if they could afford dinner for two around there. Location is not a big issue- but preferably Baltimore and north (Towson, Timonium) rather than south.
Thanks very much!!!
