First, what is the best chai (like traditional indian chai - hot, milky, sweet) in the city?

Also, any good recommendations for best south indian or ethiopian on the cheaper side of life. Love Udapi Palace for south indian but would love other recommendations.

Jerusalem - great restaurant for gift

Hi! I am visiting Jerusalem and, as a thank you present to my friend where I have been crashing, I wanted to give the couple a gift certificate/pay for a really nice dinner for them. They are big foodies, enjoy interesting fun cuisine. Since I am not from Israel or Jerusalem, I do not really know where to take/give them...I see that Darna and Arcadia are highly recommended on other websites. Any thoughts? I was thinking of giving them about $150 USD. Thank you!

Thanksgiving in Singapore!

I am going to be traveling through Singapore on Thanksgiving and was wondering if anyone has any tips on a place to get a decently traditional thanksgiving dinner- turkey, mashed potatoes, etc - buffet or sit-down, both work. Any ideas wonderfully appreciated.

any great suggestions for a group of 15-20 people, high school reunion, dinner, not terribly expensive, good festive atmosphere (bordering on cheezy is perfectly appropriate), but where it is actually possible to talk, roam to talk to each other?
