Family of five (three teens) will be in NYC. Want food that is budget and fun

I want to thank everyone for so many comprehensive suggestions. I can't wait to look these up on Menupages. We will be touring Manhattan and are happy to try most foods. Yes, we eat raw fish but I think that it may be out of our price range. We live in Los Angeles and most of us visit NY often to see family.

Family of five (three teens) will be in NYC. Want food that is budget and fun

Next week we have three days in Manhattan. I would like to have a list of various good spots that are not too mundane yet not too expensive as we are five people. We all love to sit down and eat together so a little comfort at the end of the day would be great. We eat all kinds of foods and will be all over Manhattan. Ethnic is a plus.

Hostess Sno Balls

It started out as a joke between friends, but now we are desperately searching for Hostess Sno Balls, as sort of a humorous "for old time's sake" birthday present. Does anyone know where they can be found online and in the Los Angeles area?

Dinner on the way to San Diago from LA

We often drive to San Diago from LA during the evening after traffic. We are looking for a restaurant that is close to the 405 or 5 FWY in any city on the way. We want mid price range. Open to anything that has quality food

Restaurant for teen B'day (5-boys)

Ok, should I close the book on this one? Should we go to BJ's in Westwood ????? or is there a "fun" place south of Wilshire on Westwood Blvd.?? I like the Benihana idea. I have never been!
I still really like Barney's Beanery for my son but 3rd St. and no reservations on a Satuday Nt. is too risky?

Restaurant for teen B'day (5-boys)

Hi,
I can't thank you enough! As I am sure you can tell I am a little nervous about this evening. I want to get it right. Being a Saturday Barney's Beanery does not accept reservations.. So I thought that Westwood might be easier.

Restaurant for teen B'day (5-boys)

Hello everyone,
Our sons party is this weekend, I drove around to most of these restaurants. I felt the "Vibe" at Barney Beanery was the best for my son. Yet, I decided to locate the party in Westwood. I want the boys to be in one area and 3rd St.felt too busy on a Sat. Nt ... So, any thought as to where to go????? This evening will include a movie.
Thank You !

Thank you all so much.. I have put calls into most of these places. Dave and Busters looks great, I like the idea of the games ect.. Something to keep the kids busy. I need to see it.

I love the "adventure" idea but I don't think my son would go for Chinese, but he does like Sushi... Other ideas?? what about the restaurant at LAX?? thoughts? or the asian/sushi restaurant at the Santa monica Airport, is it Typhoon?

Restaurant for teen B'day (5-boys)

Thank you Tony! This is great..
I was possibly thinking of Ribs & Grog on Rosemead? But that may be a better idea for older kids. Thanks again, If they eat at the Roosevelt hotel they could walk across the Street for a Movie after? Do you think Carney's has a festive B'day friendly feel, so the kids are not done eating in 30 minutes?

Restaurant for teen B'day (5-boys)

My topic has been dropped twice. I will try to be more specific and restaurant related. Can anyone recommend a Restaurant for a group of Teen boys celebrating our sons B' day? LA, Westwood, Hollywood, Pasadena or anywhere between. They all love sports, Hamburgers, and anything that feels (Birthday).

Getting in asmuch as I can at MILK-please help!

Hi, I had the chicken with mushroom pressed sandwich. I was good, not the best. I also had the cob, also good not the best, lacking an inventive dressing. But, like I said I would return and never miss out on the icecream..

got Milk today... I have to say the sandwich was very good, but the Ice Cream Sunday was the BEST I have ever had. I found myself thinking this evening that I would like to go back just for the Ice cream. If you like icecream this is for you!
