Sedona Restuarant/Cafe suggestions?

oooo! Thank you for your suggestion! Sounds like a good one, especially the cookie pie! I think I know what to order already in fact.

Sedona Restuarant/Cafe suggestions?

Planning on visiting Sedona at the end of May for a long weekend. Where do people go for a good but affordable meal? An expensive but worth it meal (since there are so many expensive yet not worth it meals)? Local dives??

Cinco de Mayo

I would recommend Border Grill in Santa Monica. http://www.bordergrill.com/BGSM/bgsm.htm
You probably should make reservations though is the only thing.

If you like tamales, a friend of mine recommended Tamara's Tamales. http://www.tamarastamales.com/

Mexico City in Los Feliz is nice too but not sure how authentic but it's fun. It's just a couple of doors down from the Derby, so you can go dancing afterwards.

There recently was a great review in the L.A. Weekly on La Casita Mexicana that made my mouth water. Although I'm not particularly fond of the Chiles En Nogada (I had tried this dish for the first time at Mexico City though). It's too sweet to be savory for me but you be the judge. Here's a link to the review:

They are in the city of Bell but it's still L.A. county.

So much to choose from so little time.
