Meal Delivery service - Orlando area
we've used doorstop delivery many times at work, and they've always been reliable! there's also a place in winter park called healthy chef creations that cooks and delivers individual meals. you can select a weeks worth, or 5 days worth, etc: http://www.healthychefcreations.com/
Where are good places to get stone crabs in Orlando this year?
thanks for the tip! i had only seen them at whole foods so far, and they were MUCH more expensive than that. i'll check it out!
Spumoni in Orlando
i'm not sure of any ice cream places, but i know of two italian restaurants that serve it. maybe you could convince them to sell you a pint to-go? maggiano's in pointe orlando and bravo cucina italiana...
Caterer for luncheon in Winter Park
everything i've had from them has been great. they can really do anything - theme food, any cuisine, so it's really what you're in the mood for
Caterer for luncheon in Winter Park
we use arthur's catering all the time at work, both for luncheons and huge parties. their food is always great - www.arthurscatering.com
Where are good places to get stone crabs in Orlando this year?
i hear it's stone crab season! i've never had stone crab before, and i'm looking for a place in the orlando area with an all you can eat special? has anyone seen them around town yet?
Help in Point Orlando
i love maggiano's at pointe orlando - great italian food with portions big enough to share, so you won't go broke. awesome dessert! fun atmosphere inside and great service too. just went last week, and it didn't disappoint
Coming to Orlando - 2010
I drove by the old Greek Flame location on 436 in Casselberry yesterday, and a sign is up for a new restaurant: Arigato Sushi. We'll see!
Orlando's Best Eat up at the Bar Locations.
amazing grilled cheese! other fun menu items like pork tacos, cherry couscous and fish sandwich
Where is the best no frills Seafood in all of Florida?
i've only been once, but i really loved the grouper sandwich from casey key fish house near sarasota. have to cross a one lane bridge to get there...great outside seating and florida atmosphere!
Orlando's Best Eat up at the Bar Locations.
my new favorite is eden bar at the enzian. granted, there's no restaurant to get away from (unless you count the theater), but they have a really cool and different menu. it's also outdoors, which i love on a nice night!
ISO private dining in Orlando...
i've booked private rooms several times at fleming's steakhouse (winter park), and it's always gone really well. they have a full bar, and they're not as formal, so i think a kid being there would be fine. oh fleming's prime rib....
Saigon Flavors, Oviedo
I've been seeing the "Opening Soon" sign for months at Saigon Flavors, a new Vietnamese restaurant, located on Aloma Avenue, right near the 417. It finally opened last week! I am so happy to have a Vietnamese restaurant on my side of town. The REALLY great news is that Saigon Flavors is owned by Charlie, former owner of Viet Garden (which has always been my favorite!)
The food was great! The summer rolls with shrimp and pork seemed identical to Viet Garden's summer rolls. The summer rolls with chicken were AWESOME! I also ordered the rice vermicelli with grilled pork, and it was fresh and delicious! The decor is much more modern than the Viet Town restaurants, with a nice bar and good wine selection. Service was great! And I was happy to see that the place was packed. I've already been back for take-out.
So happy to not have to drive over to 50/Mills anymore for great Vietnamese food!

Restaurant Recommendation in Vietnam Town, Orlando
i'm sticking with my favorite, viet garden. i think it's honestly because i like their peanut sauce the best :)
Romantic Restaurant in Orlando
for a night like that, i always like to go to white wolf cafe, over on lake ivanhoe. i think it's romantic, especially sitting outside, and i have always found their food delicious and different! absolutely non-stuffy!
i also recently went to primo at the jw marriott, and i loved the food. it's pricey, but not stuffy!
Need advice on two restaurants in the Orlando area
go to PRIMO next door at the jw marriott!! yum
Cuban coffee joints in Orlando?
not a coffee joint specifically, but rincon cuban cafeteria on forsyth, just past university blvd., is my favorite place for cuban food. i love their cuban coffee, and especially, their breakfast sandwiches: amanacer cubano!!
lunch in st augustine
i was just there a few weeks ago! my favorites were osteens fried shrimp, the paella at columbia. i also really liked the gypsy cab company - not the best decor, but the food was actually very creative and tasty.
Argentina Steaks - Orlando
wow!! thank you so much for sharing...i thought my question was dead in the water, but you give me hope, my friend. thanks!
Orlando area - takeout salads?
i think the best deal is at Sweet Tomatoes, and i'm pretty sure there's one located at International and Kirkman. i go to the one on e. colonial, and their to-go salad price is only $5.95. always tastes fresh and delicious - i think it's one of the best deals around.
Fun meal and drinks near Double Tree Hotel in Orlando
i think there are about 4 doubletrees in the theme park areas...can you be more specific?
Gurtzberry - Winter Park
I tried Gurtzberry recently! Has anyone else been? It's located at Morse and Park Avenue in Winter Park, where William J. Sweets used to be.
I've always been jealous of the west coast, because they have Pinkberry, but now we have something similar. Low-cal, REAL frozen YOGURT (not soft ice cream). Tart flavors like green tea and raspberry. Dozens of toppings like fresh fruit and Fruity Pebbles (sounds weird, but it was delicious).
I thought it was overpriced, but it was actually quite filling, and low-cal enough, that I could eat one of these as a meal.
Enzo's on the Lake for client dinner?
i just booked a business dinner there a few weeks ago, and it was perfect! you can request your own room; allows you speak freely on confidential matters, as well as escape the sounds of other diners. it's also nice to have the gardens to mingle about with cocktails before dinner is served.
Fried Chicken in Orlando?
i don't think anyone could stand anything else there....i'm pretty sure the piccadilly is long gone from fashion square.
Orlando-No more Scott Joseph
are they replacing him, or just not having a food critic? the sentinel sucks hard, but it was nice getting his opinion on restaurants.
GYROS in Orlando area???
my favorite is at the greek flame taverna on 436 near howell branch rd.
