"Upscale" BBQ catering in Westchester?

Having a large party in the backyard -- the vibe is rustic elegance. We're thinking BBQ and don't know who does it best around here. Also open to any other suggestions that would fit the bill. Thanks!!

Excellent breakfast dives in coastal Fairfield County, CT?

Daytripping along the coast and want to start off on the right foot....

What was popular in 1968?

Quisp and Quake cereals. Quisp is available again, but you can only buy it online...how quazy is that?! www.quisp.com

Best Eats in Geneva, NY?

Good food is fairly hard to come by in Geneva. My brother lives there & has great things to say about Madderlake. He likes Ports Cafe also. I've been to neither but trust his opinion. If you're up for something unique, try Dano's Heuriger on Seneca. It's a Viennese concept...their site explains it (www.danosonseneca.com). The restaurant was newly-opened when we went & the service was a bit rough but I imagine things run smoothly now. It's actually in Lodi, about halfway down the east side of the lake, maybe 30-40 mins from Geneva. And their winter hours are limited, so I'm not sure it will work for you.

The best pizza place that delivers to Mahwah

I love Vito's Brick Oven Pizza in Suffern (Indian Rock Shopping Center, next to CVS)...they definitely deliver and their pizza is absolutely the best in the area. They have excellent traditional pizza and they also offer very creative ones as well. Their pizza has great flavor--they do NOT have cardboard crust and tasteless plastic cheese like a lot of other places. Plus, they have a lot of other great stuff on the menu.

Strange Pairings that Taste Uncommonly Good

Fritos on a bologna sandwich
Potato chips on a tuna sandwich
-- it's a texture thing.

Best Burger

Noone seems to know about this one: Quaker Hill Tavern in Chappaqua (where Peabody's used to be). The burger is absolutely phenomenal. Plus, it comes with regular fries or sweet potato fries or onion rings or--ready for this--some of each. Can ya beat that?

Tapioca pudding

Kozy Shack is pretty good for pre-packaged food. (And it's quite possibly what the diners are serving since Kozy Shack makes trays of it for the foodservice industry) Funny---when we eat too much of it in one sitting, we say we're "having a tapioca baby".
