The reviews for this restaurant are fairly unanimously very positive.

I am going to Williamsburg with a friend this upcoming weekend, and I wanted a place that is somewhat busy and happening. Reasonable amount of women and a good bar scene while we wait would be nice.

Is DuMont that kind of place?

If not, any suggestions in the Williamsburg area for that kind of thing?

Moving to Brooklyn Heights

Just moved to Brooklyn Heights from Manhattan. I know there are a ton of restaurants on Smith and Court Street in Boerum Hill and Cobble Hill, but what about Brooklyn Heights proper?

Anything good in Brooklyn Heights proper? Menupages and Zagat yeilds limited results.

Best Beer Restaurants in Phoenix?

Funny you say that. I was in AZ around this time in 2008. I went to Four Peaks. Had their IPA on cask. I couldnt stop drinking it. I think I tried one other beer for the sake of diversity, but returned to the casked IPA the rest of the night.

From what I can tell, AZHOTDISH is the Phoenix All-Star of the Chowhound forum. Excellent suggestions in many threads.

J&G looks fantastic. Steak tartare frites, Swet & Sour Pork Belly bar apps sound perfect. Pair them with a Schneider Aventinus and an Avery IPA. Beautiful.

Tapas/Small Plates style is generally enjoyed as well, but not necessary.
