Staying Downtown at Marriot: Need recs

Bassetts ice cream in Reading Terminal market is a MUST. The Gadzooks flavor was "created" by a local radio station and is delicious!

Best Seafood in/around Easton, MD?

Thanks everyone! Just found out a friend made us a group reservation at the Crab Claw. Sounds like the view will be nice even if the food isn't all that I dreamed!

Best Seafood in/around Easton, MD?

My boyfriend and I are traveling to Easton this weekend for a wedding. We'd like to grab a casual but delicious seafood dinner on Friday night before joining in on the wedding festivities. Somewhere casual and comfortable is preferred. We're okay with white table clothes or elbows on the table. We are willing to travel 20 minutes outside of Easton.
Any suggestions? What's the BEST seafood restaurant in the area?

Thanks!

Prix Fixe Menus in Phila?

Thanks BarryG– That helped a lot. We're leaning towards Table 31's 5-7 Happy Dinner specials. $7 martinis and $9 snacks!

Prix Fixe Menus in Phila?

I'm looking for a list of restaurants or bars in/around Philadelphia that offer Prix Fixe menus. Specifically more than one day a week.
Any suggestions?

BYOB for bday in center city

Need recommendations for a BYOB in center city Philadelphia. Somewhere that can accommodate a reservation for 10 people (for a birthday celebration) and has a large enough menu for different tastes. Chloe, Matyson, etc...all too small of menus. Need some variety for the non-foodies of the group.
If you have a non-BYOB recommendation I'll take that too (just as long as the drinks aren't too outrageously expensive!)
Thanks!

Center City Sips Recommendations?

Well, for next time I recommend Davios. Sips is fun! Not all restaurants make you wait at the bar...lots of them have tables reserved in their dining room. Plus, it's good to see the crowds out on a Wednesday. Have fun! :)

Looking for a Szechuan restaurant that used to be in KOP area

Toyko Fusion has all sorts of asian fare...you may be able to find what you're looking for there. it's in the shopping center near Chesterbrook with the TJMaxx and Staples (I totally forget the name...). Enjoy!

Skippack restaurants

Zacharias is down 73 a bit, but has great food! Stop by on a weeknight for dinner or lunch for a more casual and less expensive meal.

Our first anniversary.

I second the Amada vote. It's delicious and memorable. Plus, great cocktails and veggie opts!

where to find passion fruit?

I've found passion fruit at Wegmans in the past. Not sure where the closest one to you is, but I'm sure you can search for locations on their website.

3 nights in San Diego for conference

I am going to San Diego this week for a conference. I need 3 "must eat" restaurants to go alone and/or with 1-3 colleagues. I will be staying at the Hyatt near the convention center. I don't mind walking/taking cab, etc. Price doesn't matter, but I need a few places to choose from. No mexican, no chinese please. Any/all recommendations would be helpful! Thanks.

Fancy Celebratory Dinner in/around Philly

My boyfriend just passed the CPA exam, so I need to pay up on my promise of an awesome night out at a GREAT restaurant. I want to make it really special...somewhere that we wouldn't normally go. I'm willing to spend a little...but maybe not over $250 total (including drinks, wine, tip, etc.) We're total foodies, so anything goes! I was thinking Barclay Prime or another Starr restaurant. Any suggestions or things to stay away from??
Thanks!

Terrace St. Bistro, Manayunk

I tried the Terrace Street Bistro for the first time last Thursday and it was wonderful! I highly recommend this small 24 seater BYOB. The menu is a fixed price for app, entree and dessert (about $32 per person). The meal was delicious. The best french onion soup I've had in ages and a great dessert menu to top it off. Thursday night was beer tasting nights and guests were invited to sample up to three bottles of the owner/chef's latest home brews. It's a comfortable, friendly place where you can speak to the chef and really feel at home...and the food's great too!!
I'd be interested to hear about any one else's experience here, especially since this was my first time...

Philly foodie visiting Notre Dame...any good eats?

Hey Notre Dame alums,
I'm visiting my brother this weekend at University of Notre Dame. He's a freshman so doesn't know the area too well yet. Any recommendations where to eat...breakfast, lunch or dinner?? We're willing to travel about a 1/2 hour from the university. Anything unique or just plain delicious (food or place) we should check out? Thanks!! :)

Early Sunday Dinner with grandmothers

My parents and I are taking my grandmothers to see the live performance of Dancing with the Stars this Sunday. It's at the Wachovia Center but we wanted to take them somewhere in center city for a nice dinner beforehand. Something they'd like...maybe a little traditional or old fashioned...but definitely memorable. Problem is...we need to eat around 4pm. Our original idea was Waterworks, but they don't open until 5pm. Any suggestions??

Fun dinner for 6!?

Hmmm...the Moroccan place sounds cool. Something casual and festive like that would be great. Anyone have any suggestions outside of center city...We're meeting in Manayunk, so anything close to there that fits the bill??

Fun dinner for 6!?

My boyfriend and I are meeting 2 other couples for dinner this Friday. We live all over the place...Manayunk, NE Phila, Collegeville, so are looking to meet somewhere not too far for anyone to drive. We want to do something casual and FUN! BYOB or bar is fine. Price range is flexible. Just not over $50 per person preferable. Suburbs or center city is fine too! Any suggestions??
Thanks!

Zacharias-Worcester

I've been to Zacharias a few times and have had some really great meals. The atmosphere is funky and fun. A great place for a group of 4. My favorites are the duck confit appetizer, the chicken entree (I know, I never order chicken at a restaurant, but it is great here) and the hazelnut mousse for dessert. I highly recommend it!

help! center city dinner tomorrow!

Somewhere within walking distance of Chestnut and Broad...preferably to the west of that area. I'd prefer closer to the $30 end if possible.
