5 days in NYC in March-Gluten-free Foodie's 40th BD!!

Hey everyone!

I'm going to be in NYC on a girls' trip for my 40th birthday for 5 nights…I haven't been to NYC in a long time! I would like recommendations for lunches and dinners that are the must-try restaurants in NY that are fresh, local ingredients, and inventive that can work with a gluten allergy, maybe a few Michelin star places that aren't overrated. I don't mind paying for a few mind-blowing meals...maybe suggestions of a few tasting menus…I love truffles and foie gras!!

I would also like some amazing, don't miss restaurants that are more casual with local ingredients where the locals go. I like French, Asian, Northern Italian, Spanish tapas, and Mediterranean. I really miss dim sum since going gluten-free! I LOVE Thomas Keller!

I would love any suggestions on any great Gluten-free bakeries...

BTW, we're traveling from Dallas!

Thank you so much!

Cooking classes in the Dallas area...

Hi!

How's the program going? Like you, I would love to learn these basics properly. I love to cook! I'm wondering if anyone is aware of a series that would be taught in someone's home or a more casual atmosphere with a small amount of people...kind of French basics. Maybe an ongoing class that is weekly?
Thanks so much!

Foodie spending 2 days in Lucerne area and then to Bellagio in late June...

Hello!
I would love any recommendations for lunch and dinner in the Lucerne area...any special gems...as well as any interesting non-restaurant food spots. We would like some casual cafe atmosphere with good food and some for an exceptional foodie experience. I would love the same information for the Bellagio/Lake Como area.

Any information on bars/lounges would be great too!

Thanks so much!

Would these recommendations still hold true now in March? I'm in Carefree visiting from Dallas and I'm looking for foodie restaurants...any places with GREAT foie gras??? truffles? I also LOVE Clio in Boston and use to love Olives. I like very rich sauce heavy food.

Which Neighborhood Service is the best?

Went to Preston/royal location...there were three of us...I think we ordered a mix of appetizers and entrees to share...probably 6-7 different things...disappointed in everything except the cocktails. Hubby regularly eats at lovers lane...he really likes it. I've heard the same thing from friends about PR location. Food was very bland! I know we got the deviled eggs...big disappointment. I want to like it to support the neighborhood. :(
