Chicken Tacos with Rotisserie Chicken -- Bad Idea?
Totally a smart time saving idea. However, I do not share Gail's notion that you should limit yourself to chicken breasts. Whole Foods rotisserie chicken is great--pull it off the bones with your hands, mixing the dark and light meat! Of course you'll be using fresh, hot (steamed) corn tortillas, won't you?
Seattle Restaurant in July - Any Help?
Here's my comments on comments and a recommendation or two:
Skip funky bourbon drinks (you live way too near small- batchland) but check out great NW wines. Palace Kitchen is ok but Tom Douglas' best venture is Lola--across the street from the Westin--which has a kickass menu. Crush is way good but a cab ride.
Tulio is a very good Italian restaurant but it's still Italian, if you know what I mean. Foods from the sea are what's going on during the summer here so chekc out Flying Fish or Zoe--you may still catch Yukon River salmon on the menu.
Romantic Dinner for Young Couple
Ray's is the place. No view at the very good Crush.
Seattle, help me spend $150
Here's my take--given your criteria:
Canlis is top notch but you won't get out for $150 inclusive. (I have eaten here often and often had the steak tartare--too bad 'howard 1st' got ill but that can happen just about anywhere).
As for Cascadia, it's a great Seattle / NW choice but you will spend all the $150.
Wild Ginger is, well, too wild and too trendy. Dahlia has seen better days except for the coconut cream pie but you can treat Mrs.P to that out of the bakery next door!
I like to take out-of-towners to Zoe. You'll meet your budget and be ensured of having the best from our fine NW larder.
How to eat at La Conasupo Market (Seattle)?
Birria de chivo--now that's a reason to go to Bellevue! Thanks!
How to eat at La Conasupo Market (Seattle)?
California guy relocated to Seattle and I'm a mighty happy about it, EXCEPT for missing this sort of thing--so thanks for the tip on barbacoa.
Now, where if anywhere can I find roasted goat?
