Newport, OR Area

I will be traveling to the Newport area in July. Where are the "must go to" and local places to eat? I have seen a few posts about this but there are always so many places closing these days I thought I would ask for updated recommends. All price points are great! Thanks for your help.

Girls Night Out

Where is a good place for a Girls Night Out? Not too expensive and not too frilly. Looking for a place with good food that gives you space to have a great conversation. Prefer East Valley and any type of cuisine.

Pinetop area

Where are the must visit places to eat? We will be in town for three days and would love to find great local places. Dinner? Breakfast?

NYC Restaurant Week

I am coming to NYC for the first time and I just found out I will be there during Restaurant Week. Please give me some suggestions of places to eat! I want to eat in places that will give me a true feel of NYC- not the fanciest places. We will need a pre-theater dinner for one of the nights we are in town. Our trip is 5 days so I have time to try many options....

Tia Rosa in Mesa

Does anyone know when the new Tia Rosa on Baseline will open?

Spearfish, Deadwood, Rapid City

We just returned from our trip. The area is beautiful! We ate at several of the suggested places. Oma's in Keystone was not good at all. We had to eat upstairs which is the sit down place. Awful service and not so good food. The bakery was closed (we ate the at 7 pm) so we weren't even able to have apple strudel for dessert.

Latchstring Inn was good. The view from the back patio can make any average meal taste five star! We had lunch there and the homemade potato chips were very yummy.

Cheyanne Crossing is where we enjoyed our breakfasts. The bisquits and gravy were very tasty. So tasty that I had them three times in a week. The chili was very good. We didn't taste the famous Indian Tacos but saw several pass our table--they looked great.

We will be back. Roma's is on our list to try. I heard that the owner is building a new place outside of downtown. We may see it in it's new location.

Spearfish, Deadwood, Rapid City

Actually staying in Spearfish Canyon!

Lolo's CHicken and Waffles-Phx

I just visited the south and had some great chicken and waffles. Planning to share the experience with some coworkers. Is Lolo's the best in Phx? Are they open on Mondays?

Spearfish, Deadwood, Rapid City

We will be traveling to the Black Hills in July. What are some good places to eat that won't break the bank but be memorable? We rely on chowhounders to recommend places that we can't find in our big city. Any type of cuisine.

Phx- Take home soup

Where can I find a great soup that I can take home to heat and serve?

Liberty Market (Gilbert, AZ)

The Liberty Market opened in Gilbert this week. We went there for dinner tonight. Great food and atmosphere! I have a wood fired pizza. Perfect! For dessert I enjoyed a homemade Rice Krispie treat. Great place! Joe has another palce to add to his success.

Galveston

We are traveling to Galveston next weekend. There is not a recent thread on must visit places to eat. Where should we go? This is the first time to the area so all types of food and suggestions please!!!

Mother's Day Brunch-PHX

We are looking for a great place for Mother's Day brunch. All price ranges considered. East Valley preferred.

Cater a lunch for 100 in east valley

I am in charge of planning a lunch for about 100 people. The occasion is an appreciation luncheon for a school staff. I want it to be great food that can suit many different people. I can pick up the food or have it delivered. Any ideas? Ideally, the cost would be $10 or less per person.

Romantic Valentine's Dinner-PHX

I am looking for a romantic place to enjoy Valentine's Day. Not looking to break the bank just enjoy an evening with my Valentine. I live in the east valley but I am willing to travel throughout town. I prefer places that are not loud and trendy. Any suggestions?

Bakery in South East Valley-PHX

Are there any good bakeries in the southeast valley? My very favorite bakery is MJ but that is quite the drive. I am looking for muffins, cookies, bread, and cupcakes. Any suggestions?

Breakfast in South East Valley-PHX

I am in search of a good breakfast place in the southeast valley. Farmhouse in Gilbert is already on the list. Any other places?

Suggested Meals to try

I will be traveling to Ireland in October. What meals/dishes should I try?

Harligen Bakery

My father is hosting a 60th wedding anniversary party for my grandparents in Harligen. He is trying to plan this party from Phoenix. Are there any bakeries in Harligen or near by that make great wedding style cakes?

Bavarian Food in Phoenix

I just returned from a trip to Germany. Are there any good German places to eat in the Phoenix area? Are there any German bakeries/deli in town?

Italian memory in Tucson-Can you help?

Thank you for all the help! I will be there next week and Vivace sounds like the place. What is the average diner cost there? Will I need reservations for mid week dining?

Italian memory in Tucson-Can you help?

The hotel was a stand alone business hotel. The 'chain' type hotels--semi large. Someone whom I was with order the wine so I never looked at the list--as for the menu it was not your spaghetti and meatballs type menu. Does that help?

Italian memory in Tucson-Can you help?

I need some help....a couple summers ago I ate at this great italian place in Tucson. Next week I am returning and would love to eat at the same place, but I can not remember the name or exactly how to get there. The place was in the 'northern' part of town and I seem to remember that it was in front of or next to a ?hotel?. It was not a huge place but also not a hole in the wall. They had great wine (probably the reason I don't remember the name) and super food. Any ideas?

Review: The Farmhouse - Gilbert, Az

The Farmhouse is one of Gilbert's best! There is no better place for breakfast if you live east of the 101 and south of the 60! If you are a party of two the wait is never more than 20 mins. I have tried many things on the menu and everything is wonderful!

Brunch in East Valley?

Does anyone know of a good place for brunch in the East Valley (Phoenix)? We live in the Gilbert area and would like to find something reasonable in price yet yummy. Any suggestions?
