downtown Houston tunnel restaurants
It was Crumly Cogwheels. I used to eat there in the early 90's. They had the best egg salad sandwiches. I just googled them, found their phone #, called and spoke to the owner. They are still in business but as a caterer - not as a restaurant. Too bad for us.

Where is the best place to buy caviar in Houston? I bought some at Spec's years ago, but wanted to find out if there are any additional or better places.
Need recommendation for Houston restaurant - fine dining
My husband and I are planning a date night this Saturday. We are going to be dressed up due to an event we are attending in Midtown later that night. We like Tony Mandola's, but would like to branch out and try a restaurant that we haven't been to before. Areas that would work are: Galleria, River Oaks/Kirby, West University, Midtown, Montrose, and Downtown. Restaurants that we are currently considering are: Reef, Truluck's, Post Oak Grill, and Capital Grille. We tend to prefer seafood over meat selections. Your advice and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Italian/Seafood in NW Houston or Woodlands
Does anyone have a recommendation for an Italian or Seafood restaurant in NW Houston or the Woodlands?
It's been a while since I've been to Amerigo's in the Woodlands. I learned that the original location is on Louetta and has the same owners. Does anyone know if the quality and atmosphere is the same as the Woodlands location?
Also, has anyone been to Via Emilia on 1960?
My husband and I like Campioni's but wanted to try something different for his birthday this weekend.
