I've seen this, the Bodum Kona, before. I opted to go with Chemex but have you tried the Kona? What'd ya think? |

I love aeropress as well. but it's a wee bit inconvenient when you have a group of people--all who want coffee. thanks to all for the great info. i suppose i will have to go the online route. also saw some with glass handle. that said, which is better? the glass handle or the original with the wood collar? |
|
|
those are the very ones. |

thanks for the info. tried the site but currently site is unavailable. did see a number and will call. |

Thanks, for the info. i just thought i was either blind or looking in the wrong sections. i did find a few online but i've had the worst experiences with purchasing things long distance that i wanted to avoid it if possible. i guess that's the route i'll have to take. |

I may not be looking hard enough but I'm having a tough time finding Chemex coffee pots. I don't want to shop online because I like to see what I'm getting before I pay for it. Know of any place that sells Chemex in OC or SGV? |

Paris Baguette coming to Koreatown? there is a paris baguette in buena park, in the han nam chain strip mall, too. their green tea cakes are very well known and actually quite good. their pastries are very good too. unfortunately, no bahn mi. |

Anyone visit O-Dae San recently went a couple of months ago. not the same as i remembered. portions were definitely smaller and service was absolutely slower. when it first opened, it was great. took a lot of people there who, in turn, took more people there. sadly, i guess success breeds less attention to details. |

i did find open-mouth gallon jars at target. not the cookie jars, sealed open-mouth jars. you know what, there are those gallon kimchi jars. they sell them at all korean markets but you would have to buy the kimchi too. you could try getting creative and try to find out who supplies their jars. |

The Ubergeeks are moving to north OC! congrats on the little uber. regarding korean places in buena park, there are the standard fare, surah on beach in the hannam chain strip and sagan also on beach. i prefer surah over sagan. surah has a decent lunch menu at reasonable prices with fresh raw fish--nothing too fancy. sagan, also glitzy with servers wearing headsets, didn't really measure up. after all it's the food that counts not the decor. surprisingly, i like the food court inside the hannam chain store. they've got great korean street food. the korean version of ja jang myun isn't so bad either. there is a real ethnic regional place on beach called harubang. i think it used to be a taco bell or something by the architecture. the servers are rather nasty, especially during lunch and dinner rush, but the food is very good. they serve regional jeju cuisine. anybody been? been having a real craving for ethiopian. does anyone know a place in north oc? |

Anything decent in Yorba Linda?!!! Been living in Yorba Linda for about 4 years and have yet to find anything remotely decent. Tired of driving out all over Orange County. Is there anything half way decent near or around Yorba Linda? |
