August 7 is Jewish night at the Phillies! Last mnight my husband wanted to try the food again from Betty:( After asking me to wait in line,he checked out the offerings and thought it seemed ok (no burnt food!) He had an ok bar b que brisket sandwhich (I had a nibble) which came with dull uninspired coleslaw (I ate his - he wont eat it) and chips in a bag. I had a veggie wrap which was just ok. The veggies were very fresh and raw (would have loved grilled nstead) and had some sort ofm orage dressing. I only know it was there because I saw some on the paper wrapper - hummas would have been a better choice). This roo came with chips. Web also shared some dull chicken fingers (they had honey mustard on the side in pre filled cups) The tenders had promise - they were coated with what seemed to be panko and looked as if they might have been good, but didnt quite cut it. My sandwhich was the best thing besides my diet Coke thta we had. While the food was a HUGE improvement over last year, that is about all I can say. We still deserve better! But atleast there was nothing that looked burned this year or that was left over from MONTHS ago! Oh yeah the Phillies won too:) GOOD GAME! |

August 7 is Jewish night at the Phillies! I do hope we can still mpost about the food's quality n(or lack there of) The last time this company did the food at a game it was virtually inedible and some was obviously OLD and left mover from DECEMBER the year before:( nThere nis no reason to serve food left over mfrom Channukah in August nor to burn the hotdogs to a crisp for sale; I am so disapointed:( |

? about Burger, org on Chestnut Street I will be (fdinally) closer to the Chestnut St location and I have a question. Where is it and do they do the same grilled wings I have gotten in CH and on SS? MY husband hads requested them and he will be with me or I'd prob go to Mamas:) (Love that place, buthe isnt ma big fllafel eater:( ) |

South Street has come to Cherry Hill! Sadly I will get to the CH location about as often as I get to the Chestnut Street location, which is VERY infrequently:( I thought the plan was to use the same homebaked rolls in CH that they use on SS. Maybe they will soon! |

South Street has come to Cherry Hill! Burger.org is now open in Cherry Hill, NJ and is just as wonderful as the South Street location:) MY husband's and mine fav take out meal from the S.S. location tasted just as wonderful when brought home from NJ:)!!! WE happen to LOVE getting a couple of orders of grilled wings and a side of couscous for a no fuss but super yummy dinner. WE have done this several times from the S.S. location but this past Sunday found us in Cherry Hill and I had no desire to cook dinner. So we tried the CH location and boy were we PLEASED! It is located in the Ellisburg Shopping Center next to Ritas (non kosher thought htere is a kosher one elesewhere in CH!) at the end near the MC D's. LIke the SS location it is orange and greeen inside with some lovely art work on the walls by local young artists:) The menu looked to be the same and the taste was wonderful! Service was prompt and kind and my only "issue" if you can call it an issue is we had to smell the wings that were locked in our trunk all the way home. They somehow made it there and were so yummy! Lucky, lucky people of CH! |

THe windows and one wall of the SS location BOTH say ORGANIC - at least they did this past Sunday. |

Crisp is about to take the pizza off the menu BUT it WILL still be available. It has something to do with the fact that only the Philly location has them acroding to a man I spoke to on Sunday from Crisp. |

I personally really prefer the Acme plus there is no extra $5 "get otta Jersey tax" though gas is really alot less in NJ and they pump! |
|
|

Today turned out to be kinda Kosher fast food orgy:) We had (at differant times!) Krispy Kreme donuts (YUM!) need help finding a quiz night or quizno game near - sh norristown please When my husband and I were in England last month we joined some family and former family at a quizz night at a local pub. We had a blast and WON:) Woo hoo! The former family member (my cousin's ex hubby) got the prize 6 free drink coupons. We'd love to try this here at home one night. Any suggestions? THANKS! |
