Great Seafood in Seattle
Thank you so much for your help! Etta's Seafood looks fabulous and the neighborhood sounds fun! I will definitely dine there! :)
Great Seafood in Seattle
Visiting Seattle from Boston and want to make sure that during the 5 day visit we eat at the best restaurants. We love seafood, especially when it is prepared creatively. Also, a place with a view or great atmosphere is an added bonus.
Also, for lunch we like to keep it light with healthy vegetarian food, if you have any suggestion.
Thanks so much!!!
New London Area Dinner
I am hoping someone can tell me a great restaurant in the New London area that has at least one or two fish options. It looks like the casinos have a few but they are charging $38 an entree! Looking to spend up to the $32 for an entree. Any suggestions? Maybe in Mystic, Stonington, Old Saybrook or New London?
Thanks!
Most like Sage?
I would say Coppa is most like Sage but even better! It is located in the South End on Shawmut. Be sure to know that they do not take reservations and it is wait list only.

Thanks for your help!
Convention Center Restaurant
Hi, thanks for clarifing. I am staying at the Hyatt at McCormick Place. The Latin Fusion sounds good. We would prefer not to go to a chain, a Chinese restaurant or a steak house. I would truly welcome any further suggestions.
Thank You!
Convention Center Restaurant
Hello Chicago Chowhound!
My coworkers and I are attending a meeting in the Convention Center area next week and we are looking for a restaurant that will cost us around $50 per person and works for a group of 10 people. Of course we would like a chowhound approved restaurant so I cannot wait to hear back!
If there is nothing good to eat in that neighborhood then we are willing to take a taxi.
Thanks!
Best Sandwiches in Boston
I love Flour Bakery for their fresh sandwiches made with house baked whole wheat foccacia, but I am looking for other places around that are just as good (or maybe even better!).
Thanks!

Prix Fixe
Hi Steve, yes I have already told them that we are doing prix fixe. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.
Prix Fixe
Thank you both Joanie and canned - these are some very nice and classy ideas.
Prix Fixe
I'm planning to take some clients out for dinner on a small budget so I thought a prix fixe menu would make my dollars go the furthest. My cliens works in the financial district so I was thinking of a dinner place close to that area. The dinner will be on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
Central Location in Boston
Turner Fisheries sounds like a great idea! I'll contact them tomorrow.
Central Location in Boston
Hello All,
I'm hosting a speaker program, therefore I need a restaurant with a private room. I plan to have approximately 30 attendees. I will have attendees coming from all over Boston (Gov't Ctr, Fenway/Kenmore, Downtown, North End, etc.) and Brookline. What would be a good venue that would be easily accessble to everyone? Also, which place would inspire foodies to make the trip worthwhile.
Thanks so much!
Birthday Cake Rec- South End/Back Bay
Flour on Washington St in the South End is wonderful!
South End - Healthy Food
Does anyone have ideas of a healthy dinner out in the South End? It seems like most food is smuthered in butter or oil...
Thanks!
Nashoba Brook Bakery-South End
I haven't heard anything else lately. However, it is a bit odd that they had to close the place down b/c the landlord wouldn't allow a cafe but another cafe is taking over that spot...
Non-chain chow in Danvers/Peabody area
I cannot say enough good things about Beverly! You will find an array of family owned restaurants on Cabot Street: Organic Garden Cafe, Mandrake, SoMa, Tryst, etc. Just go to Cabot Street and you'll have the best night.
Large Group Dining; BURLINGTON
Hello All,
I'm looking for a restaurant that will accomadate approx. 30 people for a dinner speaker program in the Burlington area. The restaurant cannot have more than $$$ and it needs a private or semi-private room. Any ideas?
Thanks!

I have not yet been to Grapevines or Soma but they are both suppose to be wonderful. If you dine in Beverly you will not be disappointed.
Similar to Ten Tables?
I'm so excited for Grezzo to open. VeeVee sounds great - please keep me posted! :)
(P.S. I don't feel like revisiting joebelt's topic, so I will simply state that it is possible the chef was in a very good mood the night I went there).
Similar to Ten Tables?
It was a specially prepared vegan entree. I love Ten Tables b/c they are very accomidating.
Similar to Ten Tables?
Thanks so much for the suggestion of Craigie Street Bistrot; I'll have to check it out. My eating profile may sound confusing but you are right on! :) I will eat honey although I prefer agave. Plus I say I'm quasi vegan b/c once in awhile I'll make an exception for dessert. Also, the omega's from fish are too healthy to pass up so I do eat fish but try to limit my fish intake to once a week.
Similar to Ten Tables?
Ten Tables made me a lovely vegan meal last Saturday night - yum!
Similar to Ten Tables?
I love Ten Tables b/c it's romantic, personal, and a great wine list plus they are vegan friendly. I am quasi vegan, meaning I do eat fish. I would love to find another place to go to besides Ten Tables. Any suggestions?
