the appitizer menu online seems a bit limited....is it dated or is that pretty accurate for Lartusi?

ok...so we now have choice between Osteria Morini or LaArtusi or le Zie....which one would you suggest....we will make time to get to show

so Le Zie and manzo both sound great....the stuzzichini sounds great but wonder if we could get in and out as fast as manzo. I have been to babbo and otto and lupa so not sure if this would be same style?

This board has been very helpful over the years. I am looking for recommendations. Me and my wife both enjoy Italian, we have tried Babbo, Lupa, Otto, and Becco. Have read rewiews of others on this board. Price is not an issue. Would like something that is has great pasta, and maybe meats as well. Also we are thinking of place for Tapas, we love Casa Mono. Location is not an issue as long as in Manhattan. Also looking for a nice place for wine before dinner maybe in village. We are in town friday -monday afternoon. Finally a place for good duck, could be chineese or duck in general.

atmosphere looks nice...any idea on food

thanks...another quick question. We have eaten at casa mono several times and have only found the razor clams once. each of the other times they told us that they were "not in season".....does anyone know if they are "in season" end of May?

Just checking to see if memorial weekend may 29-31st is usually a difficult time to line up reservations...in general...i know it all depends on restaurant, but was thinking of the Mamufuku ones.....

i have been to babbo, lupa, otto, casa mono and becco. I wonder what people thought of Felidia for good pasta and Esca for seafood. i will be in oct. 24th-25th....i appreciate all feedback.

Thanks again for this board..has helped me plan 3 great visits. This trip will be with whole family, who are after red sause Italian. We have been to Becco, but they are looking for best eggplant parmegiann in city. travel is not issue as we will be staying in finanical district.

Planned meals so far are Balthazar for breakfast:daughters looking forward to scene and food. Thinking of going back to have them experience Cafe de Brussles for mussels. Thinking of ateros? pizza...end of same block as Lupa.

rest of visit in terms of meals are open...we will be spending most of our time in soho, noho, EV and WV.

I will be more focused as we get closer, but red sause Italian is key....

dinner at casa mono twice...was very easy to get in....see seperate post under casa mono on what we ordered...was all great.

Chinatown B. for dim sum....was great as well....

Lupa, walked in yesterday at 4:15....no reservations...had the frutti di mare, carbonara and the sunday special the Braciole...all very very good. The Braciole was very rich.

Dumpling man, num pang..all good as well.

Had dinner there friday AND saturday and I have to say it was great....we tried
