Dinner in Michigan City

Any good recs. for a Saturday dinner in Michigan City, IN.?
Thanks

Traverse City, MI - good eats?

My wife and I were there for two nights in October last year and had two great meals. Amical and Trattoria Stella.
Both great.

Ralph Lauren restaurant was terrible

Rusa- We're in complete agreement! We dined there a few years back...sounds like they haven't gotten it right yet.
Our server couldn't even pronounce the spec items.
And the food....I could've done better in my own kitchen!!

Nice paint job though.

Sheboygan, WI - best restaurants

I second the Charcoal Inn suggestion. It don't get more Sheboygan den dat dare hey...

Also, any of Stefano Viglietti's four restaurants and specialty Italian shop on S. Eighth St. All are very good. All restaurants are very close to eachother and Stefano and his wife are always around. Very friendly people who are passionate about what they do.
-Trattoria Stefano
-Il Ritrovo
-Field to Fork
-Duke of Devon

For something special a little ways out of town, the dining room at Whistling Straits golf course (part of Kohler) is very nice. Beautiful setting and great food. A seat at the windows overlooking the links style course and the lake is tough to beat. Also the restaurant at Blackwolf Run (also part of Kohler) is worth a try too.

Gluten free dining in Central Europe?

Thanks. Looking in a Reformhaus for items is a good idea. I was hoping that someone might have experiences with restaurants in those cities - where we could eat worry-free.

Gluten free dining in Central Europe?

I'll be travelling with several teens through Germany and Switzerland this summer. One of them requires a gluten-free diet. Can anyone suggest some dining opportunities in or around the cities of: Munich, Berlin, Trier, Zurich, Interlaken, Salzburg ?
Thanks.

Wisconsin - Fine dining in Grafton?

That was about six months ago. November sounds right. Every restaurant needs time to work out kinks, but even on one of their first nights things went pretty smooth. There was a lot of help, sometimes the service was too much. Better that then not enough though. They seem to have put a lot of money into the place and I hope they make a go of it. Just don't know if Grafton will support it...it's pretty pricey for these parts. Maybe folks from Milwaukee will come up. It's gotten pretty good press so far. Hope you have a good experience.

Wisconsin - Fine dining in Grafton?

Had dinner a few days after they opened. I had the fish special which was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Very good service.

Help!! Traveling with cautious diner

Raw things that swam when they were alive....sauces that don't feature cheese (gasp!)
....bread of any color....biscuits with anything other than gravy....
And an entree over $30 is probably out of the question.
I, on the other hand, am willing put down some serious $$$ for something I can't get here. (the midwest)
Please help.

Help!! Traveling with cautious diner

I'm traveling to SF in early May. My companion is an unexperienced diner with limited funds - BUT she's ready to try great sushi, noodles/dim sum, and other SF specialties.
I need some recommendations for places in and around the downtown area that:
1. won't scare her
2. won't break the bank
3. will knock my socks off too!
Can you recommend anything?
