ah, thanks. basically, I've spent 2 days in chi so far, all at work/in a hotel in the loop, although considering a hotel on the magnificent mile for the weekend, so have no idea what the neighborhoods are really about. I'm assuming you can always get a cab? it's also our anniversary, so i'm not too worried about price, as long as it's worth it. Also, anyplace with a particularly interesting/well-priced wine list is always of interest.

Just moved and bf visiting from nyc this weekend so need someplace good for dinner for 2 saturday night. thinking new american to french, craft, gotham, adour, jean georges types, and less molecular gastronomy...having definite trouble finding a restaurant/res...
Also, someplace to dine solo sun night (good food, bar seating okay), would be appreciated.
