Large Group in Vegas (not large in size but in number)

Thanks! My hubby and I typically just go for an entree....we aren't big on splurging on app's and desserts....hence the $20 max...everyone else might be up for more $$...Where are Kilroy's and Settebello located please?

Large Group in Vegas (not large in size but in number)

What are your restaurant recommendations for a group of 10-12 to eat at.

Not pricey please (hopefully under $20/person if possible) with a few vegetarian (not vegan) options? Only one vegetarian so....no biggie.

Thanks in advance!!!

Vegetarian takes Vegas

Hi there! What are some vegetarian (not vegan or indian please) restaurants in Vegas that aren't too pricey? Also, on a sidenote, best vegetarian buffet choices? ONE more thing, best place for a group to eat (preferably with some veggie options)? Thanks!!

Vegetarian in DTW?

Hey All...any great veggie (no indian or chinese please) recommendations? I've been to Seva in AA and LOVED it, also the In Season Cafe in Royal Oak was pretty good...Please suggest!

Thanks!

Bagels in Ann Arbor or West Bloomfield Area

I couldn't disagree more. When they were finally open for me to stop in there, I was greatly disappointed. I prefer Elaine's bagels in Berkley.

Troy/Bloomfield Hills/ Birmingham/Royal Oak Rehearsal Dinner sites...HELP!!

Hello everyone...

I am in need of a *nice* but not too formal rehearsal dinner site in the areas stated. Andiamo is booked already...so don't even suggest it...ha ha...can you tell i'm a little bitter? Does anyone have any other suggestions? I would have LOVED for it to be at Maggiano's...however, my grandmother is funding it and doesn't quite grasp or like the idea of a family style event. Any suggestions!? PLEASE HELP!!

Vegetarian takes Manhattan

Vegetarian takes Manhattan

If you guys HAD to choose between red bamboo and gobo, which would you choose? Keep in mind...we don't usually like to venture TOO far out of the ordinary...abd we leave very soon....so we need rec.'s very soon! Thanks!!! :)

Vegetarian takes Manhattan

Has anyone had the portobella sandwich at the shake shack? Also, any other goodies to get while i'm there? Finally, does anyone else have any specific item reccomendations for gobo?

Vegetarian takes Manhattan

Made the reservations online...that was cool. I look forward to it. Any other specific food items not to be missed there?

From Detroit To Columbus

Wow! We had a STUPID hard time finding that place!! The sign was practically non-existent. We went to the North Market location....I really enjoyed my pizza and the peanut butter cookie I ate later...HOWEVER...the menu is really lacking! And surprisingly pricey...which I guess was ok since they are so green-eco-friendly. I was sort of conufsed when I walked in too...it was pretty vague as far as: where do I sit? where is the menu? All in all, I would give it about a 6-6.5/10. Yummy pizza though :)

Vegetarian in Paris?

Thanks! Can you be a bit more specific in terms of what is on these green menus? What are your favorites?

Vegetarian in Paris?

Thank you both so much for your advice! I wil be sure to look into both posts and reply after the trip!! :) Also, thanks for the well wishes! :)

Vegetarian in Paris?

My fiance and I are travelling to Paris for our honeymoon. He is vegetarian, I am not. Can anyone recommend any places that offer vegetarian (he is not vegan, and no indian food please) options or only vegetarian cuisine? Preferably inexpensive as possible. We are staying in the 5th. I really appreciate any advice!! Merci Beaucoup!

Wow! Thanks so much Alexis!! The red bamboo place sounds very interesting to me...what do you think of it? Is it mostly chinese food? My man hates chinses (he's crazy..). Thanks again! So helpfull!! :)

Dinner in Ann Arbor

Thanks for all the reccomendations! We went to Seva---right before seeing the best concert of my life at the Ark (Ms. Brandi Carlile---for the third time!)...I had the portabella sandwich which was very good, but the highlight was those darn yam fries!!! They were PHENOMENAL!!!! Thanks for the advice!! :)

From Detroit To Columbus

Any more suggestions? Any yummy places to check out at easton?

Wine for Virgins

I did try the viogner from Trader Joe's...the Honeymoon wine. It was very nice. I also tried a seurat which I thought was OK. The honeymoon was very good...and very affordable ($5.99). Is it pronounced Vee-oh-nay? Thanks for all the advice!

Dinner in Ann Arbor

Yumm! Thanks! I am thinking either Amadeus or Seva...anyone know which is less $$? :) Also, where is Amadeus in relation to The Ark?

The BEST places to eat in Detroit/suburban area

BooCoo is out of business....never got to try it...

Dinner in Ann Arbor

My fiance and I will be in Ann Arbor for the day in early May. I am looking for a very good, inexpensive restaurant with vegetarian (not vegan) options for him, but regular food for me. Most importantly, something close to the ark if possible...and preferrably not too pricey....any suggestions??

Plum Market Fave's

So far, I can definately recommend the Alessi Marinara sauce...and if you go, definately go on a Sunday! Samples GALORE! And they highly encourage you to try things! Super yummy.

Grand Haven Goodies

I'll have to try that! Is that right next to Snug Harbor? Also, have to second the tip-a-few...comepletely forgot about it!!

Plum Market Fave's

Hola Everyone! A Plum Market just opened up near me and I went in for a brief look around. I was overwhelmed! So much to see! I eat pretty mild and normal things (nothing too crazy ;)...what do you guys suggest?

Detroit's Greektown-any suggestions?

My bad!! It's Pegasus not Uptown Parthenon!! Don't know what I was thinking!!!

From Detroit To Columbus

I'm excited for both! Thanks!!

Detroit's Greektown-any suggestions?

Oh my, Yes! I prefer the ambiance of Uptown Parthenon (connected to the Casino) but to me Cyprus tastes just as good. The Arnaki Pilafi is a must order (the lamb meat is stewed in a tomato sauce that falls RIGHT off the bone and is served with rice pilaf). The greek salad is the best. The saganaki or Opa is unreal. Also, step across the street to Astoria Pastry Shop for dessert. I recommend the tiramisu or the white chocolate strawberry torte (preferrably the latter). Avoid the creme brulee though. Please post your thoughts afterwards! You are truly in for a treat!!
