restaurants on the west side of oahu?

I have a weeklong meeting at the Marriot in Ko Olina next week and was wondering if there are any noteworthy restaurants on the west side of Oahu. I know there are some restaurants at the hotel, but was wondering if there's anything noteworthy/less expensive than dining at the hotel all week long.

best desserts in honolulu

Hi - I moved here recently and am curious as to where the good dessert places are in Honolulu. I've already been to visit a few places when I was here a couple years ago (Bubbies, Liliha Bakery, Leonard's and Waiola Shave Ice). I also remember having a really good chocolate sampler at Alan Wong's. Are there other places you would especially recommend for dessert? Also, does anyone know where one can buy good quality baking chocolate (e.g., Callebaut, Scharffenberger and Vahlrona)? I saw Scharffenberger at Executive Chef last week, but it seemed really expensive. I haven't investigated Whole Foods yet, but are there other places that sell that sort of stuff?

Tackle Box

My boyfriend and I went last Thursday and thought it was good overall, but not amazing. I had the bluefish, the sweet potato fries and hush puppies and he had fried oysters, mac and cheese and fries. The bluefish was good, but I wasn't wowed by it. I thought the hush puppies were pretty good and we thought the mac and cheese was very creamy. We also shared a slice of the blueberry pie, which I highly recommend. It was a good combination of crust and berries without being overly sweet like a lot of fruit pies are.

Okonomiyaki at Snap Crepe

I've had good okonomiyaki before, and I was pretty disappointed with the one at snap. I ended up throwing it out because it was so bad.

Portland and Corvallis suggestions

I'll be in downtown Portland for 4 days and Corvallis for a day and what are the places I shouldn't miss. I'm not looking for real expensive meals, just something that's decent, fresh and local. Oh, and I'm a big dessert person so if there are any really good bakeries or places with excellent dessert, I'm all ears. Thanks.

Cider Donuts in April

I'm visiting Boston next week and was wondering if folks had recommendations for good places to get cider donuts. I worked in Gloucester a few years ago and used to go to Russell Farms, but they aren't opening for a few more weeks.
