Dinner in Chicago Friday night with a 10 month old
Our kids always like Foodlife. It's the food court in Watertower Place Mall, but is run by Lettuce Entertain You and has lots of really good food stations.

CSA recommendations in Madison, WI
Simply Wisconsin is a CSA that is based in Madison. They are composed of several farms, so there is a lot of variety. In addition to veggies, they have egg, cheese, and meat shares. I've been a member for 2 seasons, and am very happy with quality and variety. Website is simplywi.com.
Waterfront area restaurants
I'll be in Boston for a meeting Thurs. though the weekend. Looking for restaurant suggestions in the waterfront area. Is there anything good in that area?
Looking for good food in Northern Michigan
Going up to Glen Arbor/Traverse City area, and looking for suggestions of restaurants. Looking for good, local places with tasty food. Thanks!
2 Foodies need recs for Chicago visit
I'd vote for Scylla - we had an excellent dinner there. It's very cozy. We also had a great meal at Naha, and it is probably closer to where you will be. Not far from downtown and walking distance to Michigan Ave. area. Lots of local, seasonal ingredients there. Lula is also local, seasonal food and I had a great brunch there. It may be a little far from where you'll be unless you take public transit --the blue line of the el will get you there.
Wilmette/Glenview for drinks & dinner
We often go to Mitchell's and Wildfire with the kids. They are no further from 41 and Lake than the places mentioned by nsxtasy. Also, the places near Old Orchard are likely to be very crowded. The restaurants in the Glenn take reservations, so you won't have to entertain hungry kids while waiting around. There's also a casual Japanese restaurant called Akai Hana right on Lake at 41 that is very kid friendly.
Morton's or Ruth's Chris
We're going for a birthday dinner tomorrow, and are trying to choose between Morton's or Ruth's Chris steakhouses. Any suggestions?
Pizza to Bake at home
I've never seen a line at Homemade Pizza, and it's a fairly new place. I'm guessing that your friend was talking about Unos -- the original one on Ontario or Ohio. They have frozen thick crust pizza that you take home and bake. Very tasty.
Any interesting restaurants near Hawthorn Mall?
We're hoping for something that isn't a chain, and where we can eat wheat free. No particular hankerings.
Any interesting restaurants near Hawthorn Mall?
We'll be in the Vernon Hills area Saturday, and are looking for somewhere good to eat. Doesn't need to be fancy, but the food needs to be good. No pasta or pizza, but open to any other suggestions.
CSAs in the area
I've been a subscriber to Angelic Organics almost every summer for over 10 years. The produce is really fresh and very delicious. However, we are a family of 4 and sometimes have trouble using it all every week. It can be an overwhelming amount of veggies (and I love veggies). If you subscribe, I'd recommend trying the 12 week share to see how you like it, and I'd strongly recommend that you find some people to share with. One summer we split a share between 4 people, and each had plenty. That might help you with your cost concern as well.
