anyone been to Bumble Bee Soul Food?
I keep driving past this place, right next to Philthy Phil's bar on 16th Street just north of Thomas. I'm intrigued, but enough to try it out of the blue. Anyone know anything about this place?
Favorite lunch spot in nw valley?
would prefer something inexpensive, open to all cuisines, and as always opinions are appreciated.
AZCentral.com - best of?
I'm sorry, but best quick (non-fast) food?
My friends and I always joke lets go to Oregano's and get our pizza tomorrow. 1 hour + wait time and then 40 minutes to have a pizza made is NOT quick. Quick is like 30 minutes in and out. I don't know why I even read the reader's choice part, as everyone just votes for their favorite trailer trash restaurants. I mean, c'mon, RA? Melting Pot as romantic?! WTF!
Phx Indian food please
yeah I should have mentioned how dissapointed I was in Bombay. I thought it was as Indian as Tokyo express is Japanese.
It is convienent though
Phx Indian food please
hi I have a meeting at metrocenter which will be over around 12, and then two hours before work at the b-more. Any good places I can hit tomorrow in that time frame? Been to flavors a few times and would like to try something different/better.
Also, is Indian somewhat healthy? It doesn't ever seem greasy or harsh, but I'm starting to watch my calorie intake, so would it be an ok choice?
Thanks in advance
Wild Game Meat Restaurants - Phoenix/Scottsdale
Wright's serves Elk and Buffalo. Both wild, not farm raised.
Ideas to take mom on mothers day
Anybody have ideas on places to take mom for mothers day?
I want to do brunch, she likes the buffets. Looking for something I don't have to drop a ton of coin on. Preferably Central/East Phoenix or PV Scottsdale area.
Do chowhounders in PHX know delivery?

Thanks for that advice. I refer a lot of guests to delicious deliveries but didnt think about them.
Mother's Day Brunch-PHX
biltmore concierge talking here so it pains me to say this... Go to the Phoenician. It is the best mothers day brunch I've ever taken my mom to, and will be on of their last brunches. Take advantage of it while you still can.
Do chowhounders in PHX know delivery?
I know of a couple restaurants in the city that deliver, but I am craving Mexican food. Don't really care how good, I just dont want to go anywhere. Know any that deliver to the city?
P.S. - GO SUNS!
Scottsdale Rec Around Biltmore Center?
God Scottsdale sucks...
I like Chelsea's Kitchen at 40th and Camelback, haute kinda but light, casual, and fun.
Anyone been to Cork yet?
Just got through reading a review of Cork in the AZ Republic, sounded nice. Anyone been? I need a good SE valley option.
Help identifying a restaurant
Well he squashed all those right away. I even mentioned Marco Polo and he said no.
Something by Scottsdale Fashion Square is info I just got.
Help identifying a restaurant
My colleague is trying to remember a restaurant, and he is stumping me.
I've been drawing blanks for an hour or so.
He says it "looks like an egyptian palace, off of camelback, with high ceilings and gold."
I thought Macayo's on Central until he said high ceilings.
any longshot ideas?
Los Dos Molinos - downtown Phoenix

Phoenix AZ Review: Lola's Tapas
My one visit I thought it only slightly above average. I only say because it was so busy and loud that we could not hear ourselves think. Also, the community booth in back requires anyone in the far end to make the rest of the booth get up. Akward if you do not know the people there. I was the only one in the party whom did not enjoy the night, oddly enough.
PHX: Downtown suggestions please (no car!)
glad to hear you had a good time.
Jeff and Jeff over at Detours do an awesome job. I had the pleasure of doing an overnight tour of theirs and it was a lot of fun.
Indian buffet reccommendations?

wow old town tortilla eh? I get complaints left and right about that place but to each their own.
Id definitely hid wildfish seafood grille at Scottsdale waterfront. You will love it plus happy hour is from 5-10 every night.
Cowboy ciao is incredible. Southwestern with a medeterrianian flair.
Taggia at the new firesky (kimpton hotel) has been getting amazing reviews for coastal Italian

Indian buffet reccommendations?
I'm a complete novice when it comes to Indian food, and given my occupation, that is a terrible thing. I SHOULD be astute in every cuisine. Is there a good buffet on a SATURDAY in Phoenix area that I can try which has a good assortment of dishes. I just want to get the basic jist of things, but at least at a reputable place.
I'll give you an idea of what I know. I by default send every guest with an indian request to Jewel of the Crown. Ideally would like to try that but I cannot afford it, so a good inexpensive (
any help is great. Thanks in advance!!
P.S. any part of the city is OK but the closer to the city the better!
Is there life in Laveen?
only one place listed thus far is in Laveen and I think the reason is the area is just underdeveloped at this point. There is a decent mexican restaurant in the Fry's plaza on baseline and 51st.
And maybe someone can help as my brain isn't working, but there is a little hole in the wall on 51st and Dobbins next to the real estate store that serves good burgers and tacos.
Best Chinese take-out central Phoenix?
China Chili at 3rd Street and Earll, no question about it.
Pizzeria Bianco on Saturday -- how early to get there
You're going to wait 2 hours if you go after 6
Review: Circa 1900 (at Heritage Square) - Phoenix (w/ photos!)
