Niagra Falls
Will be at falls for one day in early May and plan to grab dinner while there. Just wondering if you can recommend a place to eat. We are four and not looking for anything over the top. Just want to grab a nice family meal out. Not into Mexican or Indian, and dont want a steak house. Any help is apprecaited.
Any great breakfast places in Plainview, Huntington or nearby?
A little futher out is Maureens Country Kitchen which has a great breakfast but usually a bit of a wait.
lunch and / or dinner
Thanks for the suggestions - I should note we are not into middle eastern or Isreali food
lunch and / or dinner
National Jewish Museum As for expense - I am not looking for the swanky sit down, white table cloth experience - I cant say with money but for a party of three I dont want to spend more than $25 - $30 a person (no drinking needed). And for lunch, after looking around, Id be happy with a place like a gastropub. I want something more unique to Philly that just an upscale experience (that could be had in any city.
lunch and / or dinner
Coming to Philly for the day to check out a museum in City Center. Wondering if there are any unique (not overly fancy or expensive) spots to hit for lunch or dinner in the area. Slightly picky - no Mexican or Indian, but do like Italian, Asian and American. No burger places as daughter not into beef.
Cortland/Ithaca
Find myself traveling up to the Cortland area and know that Ithaca isnt too far. Wondering if anyone can recommend some godo restuartants in the area - not into chains. Open to most types of food, just not mexican or indian. As for price moderate to upscale places would be appreciated.
No kids so that isnt a concern for me.
Apprecaite anything you can suggest.
Lunch in Cape May
Planning a trip down to Atlantic City and a day in Cape May so I can use a recommendation for a lunch place in Cape May. Nothing over the top, but nice. Party of four - we like seafood, BBQ, steak, italian.
Suggestions apprecaited.

Looking for good food, good protions and service at a reasonable price. We are not drinkers, more into the meal itself. Dont really want too fancy, nor too casual. More middle to slightly upper scale.
Any suggestions
Cheap Eats Itinerary for Review
Was just at the Meatball Shop for the frist time this past Sat night. Food was good, as was service once we got a table. Walked in and told it would be 90 minute wait for party of 2. You give your cell number so you can leave and walk around.
Food was good. Various meats, sauses and portions. Sides were great - had the palenta and wife had roasted veg. Didnt have the veggie balls - sorry
Worth it if you want to wait or can find somewhere in area to go to. Its a fun, trendy place.

Buffalo for Graduation Dinner
Looking for a suggestion in Buffalo to celebrate son's college grad from UB. We will be a group of about 10 people and none of us are drinkers. Son likes steak, seafood, or italian. Don't want to spend a fortune and would like something unique to Buffalo, so not a chain.
I guess somewhere where the entress fun about $20 - 30 per person.
While I have time, its always best to plan ahead.
Ramen in Manhattan
Friends asked if we [living in Queens] knew of any places they could bring their daughter to, as she really enjoys Ramen. A place perhaps to select the type of broth, noodles, etc. A place in Queens or Nassau.
Some also suggested that perhaps a place in the city would be wiser.
Not knowing any to suggst; I figured the Board would be a good place to investigate. Does anyone have any suggestions.
Thanks

In search of Westchester place for meat eater with vegetarian as well
The veggie doesnt do fish.
In search of Westchester place for meat eater with vegetarian as well
See above about where in Westchester.
Not a salad place, the carnivor doesnt do salad - it can be a restaurant that has veggie dishes, or pasta or pizza - so long as there are options.
In search of Westchester place for meat eater with vegetarian as well
Not sure as one party is coming from Queens and the other from Rockland Co. Somewhere in between
In search of Westchester place for meat eater with vegetarian as well
Meeting friends for dinner in Westchester and looking for a place that will satisfy a vegetarian as well as the carnivore in me. As for price point – moderate. We are not drinkers, nor do we want to spend a fortune for a friendly dinner. We are open to some cuisines like Chinese or Italian, but no Indian or Mexican.
Can anyone provide a suggestion?
Bringing my Mom to NYC...
In case you are taking in a show or will be in Hell's Kitchen area - we always hit John's Pizza which should be in your price range. It makes great brick oven pizza and other italian offerings. The place is a converted tabernacle with a stained glass ceiling. Definately worth the stop.
Sunday Brunch at Restaurant X?
we just had wife's 50th bday there. amazing. the food and service were perfect. food was delicious. ate things i dont even normally touch. got as much as you wanted of any course and there were 17 of them, one better then the next. drinks flowed. service staff tops. cant say much to make a better review. just wish we had more room to eat more. now we need another reason to go again
Looking for upscale seafood restuarant
Looking for a seafood place to celebrate 50th birthday. Party of 4. Not really into fish as much as shellfish, so not so much a request for fish places. Price wise dont want to go overboard but figure with 1 round of drinks maybe 200- 250.
If you have suggestions it is much apprecaited.
Morton's, Cap Grille and Ruth's Chris. How do you rank them?
Never mind the steak, they had be at the bacon. that alone would have been a wonderful meal.
Morton's, Cap Grille and Ruth's Chris. How do you rank them?
Im not a huge steak lover but always said that the best meal I ever had was at the Cap Grill in Charlotte - the food, the service, the company and the conversation all came together for a perfect experience.
Recently went to Peter Lugers (Bklyn) - definately tied for best meal of all time.
And like I said - Im really a seafood lover
Peter Luger, enough food?
Get the bacon, no matter how much you order, you will wish you ordered more
Seafood for 50th Birthday
Ive been there before but was looking for something a tiny bit more upscale. If you are familar with the Jolly Fisherman in Roslyn that was more on the level I was seeking. But would have to say LL is a good place to eat.
