Duck legs - where can I buy them (MetroWest)?
I was at the Whole Foods in Wayland (on route 20, near the 27 junction) last night and they had duck legs in the shelved section near the meat counter. Just FYI!
Recommendations for Newport
I had a really great meal at Pronto a couple of months ago. It's a pretty small place, but the waitress was super nice and I really enjoyed my food.
Boston to Wilmington, Vt.-Anything yummy along the way?
I think the prettiest drive to Wilmington is Route 2 to Route 91 N to Route 9 West. The Mohawk Trail is okay, too, but it gets really wind-y and boring, imho. The top of Hogback Mountain on Route 9 has a really gorgeous view.
A mile or so after you get onto Route 9 in Brattleboro, there's a really great little bakery/cafe on the right called Ziter's. They make great soups and sandwiches and they usually have a really excellent chicken pesto pasta salad. Their breakfast-type baked goods are good, but their brownies and pies are better.
Updated North Berkshire Guide (Williamstown, North Adams...)
Nice guide! Though I wouldn't recommend Blue Benn except for the diner car experience. The handful of times I've been there, the service was terrible and the food subpar at best. I grew up in Bennington and there's a reason you don't see a lot of locals in those long lines.
My family's been eating at Colonial Pizza in Williamstown since before I was born and it's still the best pizza I've ever had. Constantine makes a mean turkey grinder, too.
Oga in Natick, MA -- Not as good anymore?
I tried Oga's a couple of months ago because I'd always heard good things, but I was very disappointed. The rolls I had were loose and falling apart (I've had better rolls of the Minado buffet), the tuna was quite fishy-tasting and worst of all, something I had left a horrible taste in my mouth all the way home. Not at all what I was expecting, especially for that price.
Sunday Dim Sum
My friends and I have been doing Sunday dim sum at China Pearl in Chinatown for about five years and have never been disappointed.

Portland ME - Hotel, Neighborhood, Food reccs?
Wow, I've had an entirely different experience. My only complaint about the restaurant in general would be that the first floor is a bit crowded. I've never had a bad dish there and their cassoulet was excellent.
Portland ME - Hotel, Neighborhood, Food reccs?
Really? I hadn't heard about that, but I'm not local. Their website still lists am, mid-day and pm menus.
Portland ME - Hotel, Neighborhood, Food reccs?
I would totally second Duck Fat. Also, Mim's is easily in my top five favorite French restaurants. Flatbread Pizza is good for lunch, especially if it's a nice day and you can sit out on the patio.
Sibling Rivaly, revisited
I'm really surprised to hear that so many people have been dissatisfied. I went to dinner with a friend on my birthday and really enjoyed it. We shared the foie gras/oxtail terrine, which had a really interesting presentation and combination of flavors. We both had the short rib dish with roasted vegetables and it's definitely one of the best short rib dishes I've ever had. The angel food cake in my dessert was a little dry, but the fruit was perfectly fresh and the vanilla bean custard was incredibly tasty.
Maybe they just need to work on their consistency.
Brunch/lunch in Acton/Concord area?
Friends are looking for a good Sunday lunch or brunch place around Acton/Concord. Any thoughts? Price isn't an issue so much as good quality.
