Authentic Mexican purveyor needed

Loblaws at Bayview has a decent supply of HERDEZ brand chiles and salsas.

I've gotten corn tortillas from a few places (even No Frills on Avenue) but also at St. Lawrence Market. There is a guy who has a stand at the salsa booth on the lower level (and has samples on Saturdays) who sells authentic salsas under the name "Mad Mexican", I'd recommend trying that.

Breakfast at Marche-Richtree

It's the same for breakfast. I like to take out-of-towners for the experience and the proximity to the rest of the sights we'll be seeing, but the food sometimes is almost embarrassingly mediocre.

Adding salt to the water you cook spaghetti in: does it really make any difference?

I do like to add a pat of butter when making rice, though.
