san diego--business/client dinner

I'm staying at the Marriott Coronado and need a restaurant outside the hotel, but not far away from the hotel, for a dinner with clients (there will be four of us). We are all from New York, but are open to anything from pure steak to Italian to good seafood to most anything else. looking for upscale in these categories. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Upscale restaurant in Bradenton for 75th Birthday gift

Hi. I would like to buy a gift certificate for dinner at a restaurant in Bradenton for my uncle who is turning 75. I would like a nice restaurant, more upscale but does not have to be overly fancy with a good wine menu and nice atmosphere. American, Italian, Steak would be fine. nothing too ethnic or spicy. Just good American type of fare. I also dont want an uncomfortable atmosphere as they are in their 70s and I want them to be comfortable. Also, i would prefer the restaurant to be in Bradenton so they dont have to travel too far. I saw the posts with Bradenton restaurants but it seemed to be a few years old so I would really appreciate suggestions. I saw something online about Mangrove grill? Opinions? Thank you so much.

Lower East Side, Italian or Mexican, Casual

I am looking for a few restaurant on the lower east side, casual and either mexican or italian. I recently ate at Max on Avenue B and love it! Something along those lines (not expensive, casual) would be perfect. Also, if they have outdoor eating like at Max that would be a bonus! Thanks for your help!

Dinner at trendy restaurants for 17 year old and mom

thank you for all of your responses/help. I think the plan will be to do brunch on saturday at pastis, dinner at Buddakan. I used to go to Da Silvano when I spent more time in the city. I will plan that for our second weekend in the City before she leaves for school. I am thinking that even if we stay at park avenue south and 26th we will plan to spend most of our time in Soho and meatpacking district. Thank you again , so much. Really appreciate the suggestions.

Dinner at trendy restaurants for 17 year old and mom

I will be spending two weekends in NYC with 17 year old daughter who is graduating from high school. Looking for two trendy restaurants for dinner where my daughter will think she is cool and there is the possibility of spotting a celebrity. One restaurant in the meatpacking district and one restaurant somewhere not too far from park ave south and 26th street. We are not looking for gourmet restaurants but rather trendy and fun and a "scene" but keeping in mind my daughter will be with me, her mom. Thank you for your help!

San Juan, PR

I will be staying at the Ritz Carlton next week in San Juan and need some recommendations on where to eat. I have heard mixed reviews about the hotel restaurants (BLT Steak, Il Mulino, etc.), but would like that type of fare. Interested in good food, not ridiculous prices (i.e. up to $25-30 per entree). Perhaps restaurants in OSJ? Thanks for your help.
