My top 5 favorite restaurants:
Lucques in Los Angeles, where I lived for quite a while; hammersley's in Boston, where I met my wife; Zuni Cafe in San Francisco; recently had two great fun meals at Au Pied du Cochon in Montreal; after that, an assortment of Southern (Loveless Cafe in Nashville), barbecue (Rendezvous, Corky's in Memphis, Ruby's in Austin, probably 5 others), The Shed in Santa Fe, and I'm leaving out at least ten more.
