Bang Bang Mongolian Grill in Canton
We inadvertently stumbled upon the Bang Bang Mongolian Grill in Canton on Saturday after arriving to a sold out Roller Derby show. Ended up at the Bel-Loc Diner (WoW surprised none of us suffered food poisoning!) but has anyone been to Bang Bang? They apparently just opened last week and are planning to open 6 more locations around Baltimore. I've been craving a Mongolian Grill since the one in Columbia closed!
Mongolian Grill - Columbia, MD
I think Mongolian grills are pretty healthy since you're able to choose exactly what you do and don't want in your dish. I always liked to make a big bowl of cabbage w/ some pork, sesame oli, garlic, green onions, and a little salt and pepper! SOOOO good!!
Mongolian Grill - Columbia, MD
Yeah but that's like an hour away from us! Why aren't there more Mongolian grills?!
Mongolian Grill - Columbia, MD
One of my and my fiancee's favorite places, the Mongolian Grill, in Columbia is gone! We were just there about a month ago and tried to go on Saturday but they're totally vanished with some signage about a new restaurant coming soon. Does anyone know what happened?!

Zagnut candy bars
Thank you! I just called the closest 5 Below near me and they confirmed that they do carry the deliciousness!!!
Zagnut candy bars
How come the deliciousness of the peanut butter and coconut Zagnut bar is not found more readily in Maryland?! I find it in VA and PA all the time!
Wegman's Columbia
I've heard that they may need to find another location because the swamp that they want to build near is home to endangered Osprey and they don't want/are not permitted to disturb them.
Beefalo Bob's Pit Beef
Despite the age of this thread I felt compelled to comment. I've lived in Maryland for all my 30 years but just recently became introduced to Tiger Sauce. I've been having a love affair with the stuff for a few months now. I know it's meant to go on Pit Beef sandwiches and while I'm not a fan of Pit Beef I've found that Tiger Sauce is quite good on steamed shrimp!
Baltimore Restaurant Week - January 21-30
I feel like in the past chow hounders have been pleased with Baltimore RW. Am I wrong? Have things changed?
Pasadena/Glen Burnie Treats
Snyder's Willow Grove is in Linthicum on Hammonds Ferry Rd. nowhere near where the OP was asking about.
Haven't been to Moulin de Paris yet but it's not in the Lake Shore shopping plaza it's actually behind the plaza across the street from the McDonald's with Ledo's and Olive & Sesame.
Personally I LOVE the Dragon Boat chinese take out restaurant in Lake Shore Plaza. It's the only place I'll order take out/delivery from!!

Nobody has anything to say about Baltimore RW?!
Baltimore Restaurant Week - January 21-30
Haven't seen anyone talking about Baltimore Restaurant Week here yet. Yesterday the boyfriend and I went to the Aquarium and decided to go to La Tasca for dinner. We were unaware that it was Restaurant Week but when we arrived they handed us the RW menu which was $20.11 for lunch and $35.11 for dinner for unlimited tapas from their pri-fixe menu. Pri-fixe menu had a pretty good selection. Food was awesome, server not so much.
Anyone else participating in Baltimore RW?

Drove past this new kebab place last night. Didn't see the name though. Has anyone been yet?
Juniper Berries - Where to buy around Baltimore?
Good Life Natural Market in Severna Park has them in their bulk spice section.
I am trying to locate the Coconut M&Ms in the Bethesda MD area ... any sightings ?
I found the coconut M&M's at 7-11 yesterday.
Americanized Chinese food Baltimore
I actually have made it a few times. Sometimes though when I don't feel like making it I'd like to know that there's somewhere I can go and get an order of it!
Americanized Chinese food Baltimore
I have nothing intelligent to add to this conversation but I just wanted to mention that I LOVE Peruvian Lomo Saltado!!! For months and months last year they had it on the hot bar at Whole Foods in Annapolis. But then they changed the cuisine out and started serving Jamaican food in it's place! Oh the humanity!!!
ISO: Brach's Neopolitan Coconut Sundae candies
*LOL* That's hilarious Weezy!!
I remember at my store's Brach's display they had the $.05 sample box and you'd put your nickle in there and take a candy. Sometimes I'd pluck the box with my finger just to make it sound like I had put a nickle in there and then take one. *LOL*
ISO: Brach's Neopolitan Coconut Sundae candies
I know that I could but I'm craving an experience as well. When I was a kid I used to walk in to the store and my eyes would glaze over at the sight of the Brach's bulk display! *LOL*

Wegman's has a large bulk candies section. Does anyone know if I can get them there?
ISO: caviar
Looking for somewhere that I can purchase some caviar. I've never had it before so if anyone can recommend a certain kind that would great.
Cheese shops in Baltimore?
Looks like I'm a few years late on this one but I'll add my $.02 anyway.
The Big Cheese in Downtown Annapolis has a nice selection of cheeses. I'm partial to DTA so I don't know if it's really that great of a store or just the atmosphere that I adore. The employees are very friendly and encouraged tasting.

Does anyone know where I can find these in the Maryland area? They used to have big displays of Brach's bulk candy in the grocery stores and I'm not seeing them anymore. Please advise.
