Hard to choose -- almost every meal in Manhatten has been truly memorable, but maybe Gramercy Tavern was the best.. (definitely not Babbo -- got sooo sick after eating there).

A really good black tea (from Fortnum & Mason or Whittard's).

'Cheating Chicken Curry' -- people always ask for the recipe.
My favorite comfort food:
God, so many! Of course mac and cheese, but I love Persian food (pomegranate walnut chicken with heavenly saffron basmati rice) and homestyle French food (Beef Bourguignon with buttery mashed potatoes, yum!).
