updated suggestions for Waltham/Watertown?
I searched on "waltham" for a few updated suggestions for Waltham in addition to looking at citysearch and didn't see anything too recent that fits - I am looking to treat one of my best friends to a nice dinner in Waltham as it is a mutually convenient location. She and I have tried Biagio, Il Capriccio, Tuscan Grill, (I guess we like italian), Solea among a few places and I've always enjoyed Stellina's, but agree that it can miss the mark too - so we're eager to try something else - any suggestions? middle to high price? it's a birthday treat after all.....

fellow chowhounds - I'd greatly appreciate any recommendations for a 1st date lunch meeting in Easton or nearby? we're not too picky, but I've never been to Easton and live in Charlestown so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'd even go for a good cup of coffee and snack in Easton??? Many thanks!
Dinner in Needham
I went to Sweet Basil for the 1st time last night as it was also mutually convenient for the 3 of us dining - we all loved it. I had the lamb shank special that was delicious with vegetable and creamy polenta. One of my friends had the lasagna and it was huge - she took most of it home with her. Too bad they don't serve coffee and dessert.
What to order at La Vita Mia in Saugus?
Thank you all for the suggestions - I went with the Pasta di Casa with the shrimp and lobster and homemade fusilli - it was fabulous and exceeded all expectations. I know the locals want to keep this as a best kept secret - but I feel compelled to tell everyone you've got to try this place. We started with the Rabi di casa - broccoli rabe, shrimp, yellow peppers, garlic and oil, which was also outstanding. I was too full to try the desserts. La Vita Mia rivals many of the north end italian favorites - and this was probably one of the best Italian meals I've had in a long time. who cares that it's located in a strip mall - you should try it.
What to order at La Vita Mia in Saugus?
I did a search through the boards, and I saw "La Vita Mia... sssshhhhhh!!!", but I'd love to hear some recommendations on what to order? I'm going there for dinner tomorrow night with a good friend and I've never been!
Good food near Jurys?
I've been to Laurel, which I think is good, but would like to try something else. Any recommendations for a restaurant for dinner near Jurys? we're open to type of cuisine, thanks!
