New Old Topic--Best Whole Belly Clams in NY area? brooklyn fish camp (5th ave, park slope) has a fried oyster & whole belly calm appetizer. If you ask they can sub oysters for all clams. The clams we very fresh, batter was a little too crunchy though. Tarter sauce was ammmazing. Outside of the city and LI, my fav clam shack is Sea Swirl in Mystic, CT. they actually cut off the chewey part so it's all tender clam goodness. You even get your choice of big bellies or little bellies! |

What is the best tacos in queens? [Moved from The Best board] i must agree - the taco truck takes the best taco title for all of nyc. (it's crazy when you think about it). but please - before you doubt, spend $2 on a asada taco and fall in love. get it with all the fixin's. you won't be disappointed. |

imo, it's they've got the best burgers (including veggie burgers) hands down. fries are great, salads are huge and fresh, and the prices are downright cheap compared to the quality of the dinner items. try having a piece of salmon on that salad - it's grilled and seasoned to perfection. |

Best chinese restaurants in Queens, not flushing? If you love S&T which means you like Szechuan, then try Camellia's in Great Neck. It's just past the queens border, a block from the Great Neck LIRR. I used to go frequently a few years ago and was loved the less oily take on szechuan cooking. i thought i'd never go back to flushing! |

Best South Shore (LI) Seafood? Happy 4th! I've lived in the city for a few years and will be coming home to take my mother out for the 4th - any recommendations for great seafood (steamers & lobsters in particular) on the South Shore of Long Island? |

Helios - a greek place in North Slope (6th Ave / St Marks) has amazing burgers: they start with a fresh toasty challah bun, big red tomoato slice, perfectly grilled red onions and crisp lettuce. Their Lamb burger and Veggie Burgers are great too! |

Woodside/Sunnyside suggestions? (eating out AND delivery) El Nuevo Izalco @ 6405 Roosevelt Ave is my absolute top foodie choice in woodside. Best Salvadorian food you can get in NYC - everything is cooked with love and intention. the pupusas are to die for and the homemade hot sauce alone makes the visit worth it. |

Glorious poutine at Sheep Station: The Real Deal! it's a special - the waitress told us about it - that's how i found out! |

Helios at 6th ave and Saint Marks / Flatbush Ave (upslope / north slope) is my favorite for delivery - great tasting authentic Greek, hearty portions and they include free cookies with every order! Try the maurosalata and the helios special sandwich. Luscious Foods also delivers - home cooking, a bit on the pricey side though. |

chinese breakfast with donuts and soy milk? i think you'll have to go to Flushing for anything decent - try the restaurant at to 41-27 Main St (next to the public library) or Shanghai Tide on 40th Rd. The 7 train will take you right there. |

Agnanti is by far the BEST GREEK restuarant in Astoria. the moussaka is perfect and fresh, the swordfish kebabs bring tears to my eyes. the staff is warm and make you feel right at home. |
