Roberto Passon is oustanding. One of the best Italian places on the UWS and cheap. On 50th & 9th and most entrees under $25.

They have selected dim sum for ~$5 in the bar for happy hour (5-7). Much more reasonable and cheap cocktails and wine while you are there

Real good Cantonese
Does anyone know where to find decent cantonese food in Manhattan? Not the saucy, gloopy, overly MSG'd stuff that's on every street corner - I mean Hong Kong style with fresh ingredients and barely any sauce (which would be light and thin anyways).
