80th Birthday Party - 20 People

I do agree about Cafe Milano, we like the bar area for drinks because we usually meet interesting people. The food is mediocre and over priced. I will check out PS7, Acadiana, and Againn suggested by woodleyparkhound. The location does not need to be in the hotel area. Thanks.

We are planning an 80th birthday party for my partners mother Memorial Day weekend. We are staying at the Grand Hyatt at Metro Center. We are open to any options/restaurants. Visiting Baltimore in January for my birthday. We are staying at The Four Seasons Hotel. We have a reservation Friday night at Woodberry Kitchen and Wit and Wisdom on Saturday night. Has anyone been to Wit and Wisdom? We been to Woodberry and love it.

Need suggestion for Saturday lunch and Sunday brunch. Thinking the Wine Market for brunch on Sunday before leaving town.

Also on my list... Black Olive, Charleston, Kalis Court, Waterfront Kitchen, Blue Hill Tavern, Cinghiale(been for drinks), Meli....

not looking for anything in particular. I originally picked Scarpetta because we stopped by last summer late at night and had wonderful appetizers, plus I would like to buy Scott's cookbook. I have read about Sfoglia a few times and thought it might be worth a trip uptown.... casual dress, trendy crowd, etc.... We are staying at Gansevoort Park.

Visiting over Thanksgiving. Have a reservation at Scarpetta on 11/23. We were there last summer and had appetizers at the bar. So, I am thinking maybe we should try something new for Italian. Below are my suggestions: Sfoglia, Avoce-Madison, Osteria Morini, and Ai Fori.
