HELP - I need chocolate in Vancouver

Chocolate Arts for sure

Calgary Farmers market

COBS normally starts out in suburban parts of cities then eventually opens in more central parts. There is nothing creative about COBS though, its production is done by portion control, much like Moxies, the Keg, Kelsey's and others that many on here were complaining about. So if COBS does not open up in the DT area or the inner city I will not be upset

Sushi Club - Calgary

I find another great place for Sushi is Wa's on 17th ave and Centre Street north, across the street from the Reagle Beagle pub

restaurant idea ??

Try Bistro 2210 on 4th Street. Check out the menu on their reader board outside the restaurant. Great food and service, good prices, great ambiance.

best pizza in calgary?

Actually it's called Nat's not Nate's and if you realized that very few local's go to "Nat's" because of the average quality. If you want good pizza go to Amadeus Pizza or Lombardo's or Presto Cucina

best pizza in calgary?

Actually I believe Il Fornello in Toronto is certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana. So if thats what they told you about Calgary having the only certified pizza they are not being truthful. I also believe Vancouver has one but will get back to you on that one

what's up with Brava Bistro?

Well perhaps some of us have different standards to what is good service and poor service

Calgary Farmers market

I think the tomato guy you are referring to may be named Milan and he's from Kelowna. His Sungold tomatos are some of the best tomatos I have ever had

Calgary Farmers market

Where in Vancouver is Hines Public Market? The one in Seattle was in the Eastlake district was it not? I used to enjoy Torrefazione coffee, but Starbucks purchased the franchise and ended up closing most if not all of the cafe's.

Wings in Calgary

Surprisingly, I had the hot wings at Denny's one night and they were quite good actually, very messy and tasty. Then had them on another occasion and again very good.

Kelowna on Easter Weekend

Try Wild Apple Grill, its in a resort hotel with a view of the lake, or the Old Vines Patio at Quails Gate winery, or Cattle Country Steak and Seafood. As well many of the wineries have nice restaurants

Calgary Zoo

There was about 7-8 hot items from eggs, bacon, eggs benedict, chicken, salmon, pancakes, waffles, hashbrowns, omlette station, waffle station, salad bar and dessert bar with chocolate fountain with lots of fresh fruit. Great value

what's up with Brava Bistro?

When Brava first opened I thought it was very good, in all aspects but have been there about 4 times since and it seems to go down hill each time, although to be fair the last time I was there it was not too bad, but at that time we just had a couple of beers, mussels and a flat bread. I find not just Brava, but many other restaurants in this city to lack consistency. I expect to receive the same quality of food whether I go on a Monday night at 10pm or a Saturday night at 7pm. The service part I can understand as many places are short for employees, if I see the server working well and is pleasant to his/her guests I am very patient, if not then I have a problem with that

The Only

The Only is an outstanding restaurant. A few years back the New York Times rated it, I can't remember if it was the top seafood restaurant in North America or one of the top. It is in a sketchy location but very memorable. If you are looking for good comfort food for a place near the same area try the Ovaltine Cafe.

Calgary Zoo

I've just recently attended the Sunday brunch at the Zoo and it was a great experience. Very well priced for admission and brunch combined. Large selection of food and the servers are very attentive, friendly and seem to enjoy serving their guests. I went there after, again a great experience in one of their banquet facilities where service and food were excellent, so decided to try the brunch. Anybody else attend anything here if not you should definatly give it a try
