Wine Jar on Fillmore
I went last Wednesday night (March 12) and enjoyed the experience. I tasted three whites two of which were great and one easy to forget. However they didn't have any cheese on the menu. Instead they had a large cheese platter with dried fruit and crackers that was free. I walked right up and created my own cheese platter. I am planning on going again for sure as it is around the corner from my house as well. Remember its hard to judge any establishment within the first week of opening.
Dinner in Burbank
I'm going to be in Burbank with my family on Friday night and need a delicious spot to eat. Any suggestions? I live in San Francisco so I have no clue where to go!

Does anyone know where I can find mini hot dog buns in the San Francisco Bay Area? Or perhaps an easy recipe? I want to serve them at my big game tailgate in December. Thanks!

Pie Crust Help
So this weekend I used the "no fail" pie crust recipe that is in the July Bon Appetit and totally and completely failed. I've made tons of pies in the past and never had the dough turn out so crappy as it did with this recipe. Usually I use a classic pate brisee with only butter and the new recipe called for shorting. When I rolled the dough out it was crumbly and cracky. Does anyone know what went wrong????

Michael Mina, Nopa, Quince, Gary Danko are all good options for fine dining in San Francisco. Although the cafe is really good.
Saturday Date Lunch
I'm going on a blind date on Saturday for lunch. We are meeting at 1:30, where should we go? I would love any and every suggestion. I've been wanting to go to a lot of the places on the chronicle's top 100 list but it seems as if the majority are only open for dinner Saturday. Is going to a place downstairs at the new Westfield center too tacky???

Suggest a new place. Make up a lie about already going there recently and having a bad experience than gently suggest a place you have been wanting check out.
Grilling Tips?
So this weekend I'm in charge of the grill at my sister's charity barbeque, does anybody have any grilling tips? I'm getting super nervous about grilling for 300...any positive and encouraging advice warmly welcomed. It's hot dogs and hamburgers.
