2011 Favorite Places to Eat - Tampa / St. Pete
I'll have to try Vizcaya again. One of the best restaurants in town for Peruvian is Terra Sur in Carrollwood. The best Ceviche in town. Its a small strip mall but don't be fooled. Also, I would skip Tank's and head over to World of Beers and order some Anthony's coal fired pizza while you drink. Great Tacos and some authentic Mexican, check out Tacqueria Monterrey on Fletcher near USF. And last, I love the Calamari and rolls at Kaisen sushi but I think their sashimi is second rate and has gone down hill. I've been going there for over 10 years. I wish we had some more new places in town!

Report on visit to Tampa: Bern's, devil crab, sandwiches
Absolutely, it is a major part of Tampa history. Still I would stick to the dessert and dessert wines.

Report on visit to Tampa: Bern's, devil crab, sandwiches
Dessert room, port and dessert wines are tops. I wouldn't miss it.
I've had far superior prime dry aged beef in many places. It's hype!
Report on visit to Tampa: Bern's, devil crab, sandwiches
Bern's is way overrated. It's a place to drop alot of cash and then try to impress your friends. I went to Berns!!! Don't bother.

Unpasturized products in NH?
Don't believe it!
Actually our food processing system these days causes a much larger risk than raw dairy. Spinach? Taco Bell?
There have been many more infection outbreaks from regular milk than raw milk.
I've been drinking raw dairy for years and in other countries they do the same. The dairy industry keeps you scared. I'm a physician and have read much about the subject. There are enzymes in raw mik that kill bacteria. When you pasteurize you lose the enzymes, nutrients and every other good thing in the milk.
Here are many places with raw dairy. It is in stores in California and 100% legal there, so it couldn't be all that horrible.
