you can find it in the aisle freezer in the same area where they sell the hot food items.

No MSG Pho

Hey lets stay on topic. I understand that you like excito-toxins added to your food, but my own research and the recommendations from the medical professionals I deal with explicitly state to avoid MSG and Aspartame. So lets continue to list locations that serve NO MSG Pho.

NO MSG Dim Sum takeout in Richmond BC - prepared and frozen

I know this move to no msg dim sum products is new. I went to empire market in richmond where they carry some gah-lok frozen dim sum products. This must be older stock because msg is listed on the label. If you go to the store on no3 road in richmond beside savon, all of his products in that location are msg free.

there is a general range of dim sum items from ha gow to sui mai, sticky rice , the usual suspects. It is a decent selection, but not extensive.

If you go there mention to the owner that you are visiting his store specifically because his products no longer contain msg. He is sticking his neck out, as most asians want the taste enhanced by this exictotoxin.

This is a take out only frozen dim sum establishment located beside Savon Foods on #3 road in Richmond BC.

The owner is listening to his customers, and now is making all items in his shop MSG FREE.

I hope those chowhounds looking for a source of frozen MSG FREE dim sum who buy from this proprietor let him know they appreciate the MSG FREE products.

Standard dim sum items available. Selection is fairly large.

Milk: The Deadly Poison

The title of this thread should read: "commerical pasteurized and homogenized milk - the deadly poison"

commercial milk production focuses around producing an inferior product-for-profit. Milk in its commercial form is a deadly poison.

However, raw unpasteurized milk from grass fed traditional cows(not holsteins) is a health promoting, nutritious food. Commerical milk is not the same!

No MSG Pho

anyone know of a "no msg" pho place in Richmond or the lower mainland?

The only place i know of is Nooch located at garden city and cambie in richmond.

problem is that they are only open 4 hours / day now , and are closed on weekends.

strange way to run a business.

anyone know another place?

Cowshare! Raw unpasturized milk and cheeses

I have had the priviledge of becoming a member of a cow-share program in the vancouver area.

Drinking raw milk from pastured, grass fed cows is an immensley satisfying , health promoting experience.

contrary to media hype, raw milk is completely safe to drink.

It is illegal to "purchase" Raw milk in Canada, However, you can just drive to Washington state and buy it in the stores.

Alternatively you can join a cow-share program.

You pay the farmer to tend to your property (the cow) , and he delivers the milk to a pickup point in vancouver.

Becoming a member also gives you access to raw cheeses, raw yogurt, raw butter and eggs from pasture raised hens.

sunday brunch buffet - Fairmont Waterfront or Pan Pacific?

I had a similar experience. King Crab legs and claws were being served. A few people took all that had been laid out on the table. I asked a staff member when more was coming , and a full plate of crab legs and claws were brought to my table promptly.

All the juice are fresh squeezed. The oysters are amazing! I usually don't like raw oysters, but the oyster at the sunday brunch were so fresh and clean tasting !

On special occasions they bring in a Sushi Chef. Only wild fish is used , including real crab! The sushi is as good as Tojo's which is very very expensive. Even the golden ginger is of very good quality( the red coloured ginger has food colouring and aspartame - the kind found in most sushi houses)

Selection is great. Lots of different types of food including roast prime rib, roast lamb, steak, eggs benedict, dim sum, salmon wellington, etc.

Everything is great and i have been several times.
