Walnut Room Wine Bar - Pre-Theater Drinks

I enjoy the place. Server was extremely helpful and nice but then again I went this week before Christmas craziness. The tree is up and decorated. You do not have to wait in line with all the people waiting for a table. They serve decent snacks. Enjoy. Worth it.,

Chicago - Fun, entertaining restaurants to recommend?

My daughter and I just went to Andy's Jaz club on Hubbard...food is okay but jazz is great definitely worth a visit(she doesnt even like jazz much but loves to go there).Jazz showcase is another place to hear great music and they let you bring in food-so go grab a great burger and onion rings at Hackney's acroos the street and enjoy. Also if the weather is nice, go to cafe outside Tavern on Park restaurant downtown at Pritzger Pavilion-great burgers, people watching, and go for a Rainbow cone next door in the cafe.Go to Millenium park website and you could a wonderful, free outdoor concert that night too. ? re: The Mia Francesca group of restaurants

I like the Francesca's on Taylor street. I have been there multiple times and often with guests and no one has been displeased. I even have relatives who when they now come from Seattle they want to just go there. The food is top notch-. Been to the one on Bryn Mawr and liked it too but the food just did not seem as good. Good Luck and enjoy. You will love the calamari and the olive oil with spices.
