Anyone have a smoker?
I have an electric smoker and have used wood chips with usually good results. In general, do people prefer wood chips or chunks (or pellets) for an electic smoker.

Recommendations for Tampa/St. Pete
I will be delivering my son for his freshman year at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg in a few weeks and would welcome any and all recommendations for the area. I remember there were some very good Cuban restaurants in Tampa (Ybor City?).
JB's Bar BQ in Brewster (NY)
I have only tried it once--pulled pork was too sauced and not smoky enough, same for the chicken. Baked beans were quite good, as was the cole slaw, though. I prefer Uncle Willy's in Waterbury.

Not too close to New Haven, but worth a drive, the doughnuts at Dottie's Diner (used to be Philips Diner) in Woodbury are the best.
Lobster rolls - no mayo!
Yes, I believe that's a Connecticut-style lobster roll. My favorite is at Lenny-and-Joe's Fish Tale in Madison, CT--just lobster and butter. What's so good about the lobster roll in Mashpee?
Charleston and Beaufort
Slightly North of Broad (SNOB) in Charleston is very good, and I would go to Jestine's Kitchen for lunch.
